"Powerful low-code and solid governance to create enterprise agents in record time"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot Studio?

What I appreciate most about Microsoft Copilot Studio is the perfect blend of low-code simplicity and the power of enterprise-class generative models. It allows you to go from idea to operational agent in extremely short times, maintaining complete control over data governance.

In particular, the features I regularly use and consider distinctive are:

UI / UX and Visual Canvas: The flow node-based graphical interface is intuitive and well-organized. The ability to combine conditional blocks, action invocation, and generative responses within the same visual graph allows for designing complex conversations without getting lost in code.

AI / Intelligence and Generative Answers: The native integration of generative models allows Copilot to directly tap into corporate knowledge bases (Website, SharePoint, internal documents) through conversational search (retrieval-augmented generation). Instead of having to manually map each single intention (intent), the system responds fluidly and contextually on corporate content from day one.

Before adopting Copilot Studio, creating a corporate bot required dedicated software development, weeks of training on example phrases, and continuous maintenance.

Integrations and Process Automation: Thanks to the native connectors of the Power Platform and Azure (Power Automate, Dataverse, external APIs), it is possible to transform Copilot from a simple responder to a true operational agent.

Concrete Impact: Instead of writing "saves time," setting up automated actions through Power Automate allows Copilot to perform complex tasks (e.g., opening IT tickets, querying CRM, or booking resources) directly within the chat. This has reduced first-level support requests managed manually by the team by 50%.

Performance and Scalability: The response latency performance is excellent. The platform handles peaks of concurrent interactions without drops in natural language processing speed or data retrieval.

Price / ROI: The return on investment is tangible, especially for organizations already immersed in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. By reusing licenses, pre-existing connectors, and documentation already archived on SharePoint, additional infrastructure costs are eliminated, and custom development costs are dramatically reduced.

Support / Onboarding and Governance: The learning curve for business analysts is very gentle thanks to ready-to-use templates and official documentation (Microsoft Learn). Additionally, the corporate administration and security panel offers an unexpected benefit: the ability to apply DLP (Data Loss Prevention) rules and AI usage tracking directly at the central level, ensuring IT compliance without slowing down innovation in individual departments. What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot Studio?

Support / onboarding and advanced documentation: although the basic onboarding, guided by templates, is quite simple, the official documentation shows several gaps when moving to more advanced enterprise scenarios (e.g., complex SSO authentication, multi-environment configurations, or ALM/DevOps processes for bots). Consequently, achieving a stable configuration often requires a long trial and error process or direct support from specialized consultants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
