What stands out most is that Mesrai actually finds real bugs, not just surface-level style nits. In one of our PRs, it caught a genuine dependency issue and did solid cross-file analysis to show how the change connected to the rest of the codebase. The part I found most useful was how it mapped the blast radius of the change, so I could see what else the fix would affect - not just the single file I happened to be looking at. It identified the bug correctly and explained why it mattered, which made it straightforward to act on. For a review tool, getting the actual issue right is what matters most, and Mesrai does that well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the moment, the feature set still feels a bit limited compared with some more established tools. It handles the core review workflow and cross-file analysis really well, but there are still a few capabilities and integrations I’d like to see added. It’s clearly early days, so I expect it to round out over time; for now, though, you’re choosing it because it does the core job extremely well, not because it offers the broadest set of features.
