What do you like best about Mari?

Workflow, Projection painting, (32 float brings all the detail!) All the adjustment control mask control (edge, fractal) you could distort the texture on distorted geo. Swap texture when UV of the geo changed by using transfer tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mari?

PBR for vray is not that properly working, Displacement map isn't really apply or you don't see it as strong as others. mirror painting is not user friendly when your geo is not in the center. Painting texture for Ptex is really hard when it comes to folded geo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mari gives you a lot of detail control that is so strong and unique. No matter what engine you are using for rendering, as long as you know the value and workflow of your channels.
