"Malwarebytes is an amazing software and everyone should be using it."
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Malwarebytes is quick and easy to install, requires little to no setup and does what it is supposed to do without all the overhead and problems we have had from competitors like Norton and others.

Their Endpoint protection is terrific as is the remediation and again....easy to setup and easy to manage and see everything that is going on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

So far...nothing to complain about at all.

Support has been great, the price is great, the software appears to do what it needs to do.

I am struggling to even come up with anything that I can honestly say that I dislike about Malwarebytes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From Malwarebytes to ThreatDown: A Trusted Evolution in Endpoint Protection"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Having used Malwarebytes’ free version since 2005 and later its paid offerings, I recently upgraded to ThreatDown to protect our clinical systems more comprehensively.

From the outset, ThreatDown impressed me with:

-Unified Management: One console to deploy and manage across endpoints; servers and workstations alike.

-Impressive Detection & Response: The EDR component identifies and interrupts malicious behaviors that traditional AV might miss.

-Simplified Security for IT-constrained setups: As an admin who juggles many tasks, I appreciate how the platform emphasizes ease of use and rapid deployment.

-Advanced features beyond malware removal: These include vulnerability assessment, patch management, device control, browser and phishing protections, and firewall management - all in the paid bundles.

In practice, deploying ThreatDown meant I could standardize on a single platform for endpoint security, phishing protection, and incident response—reducing complexity and giving me better visibility across our environment.

If I were to sum up: ThreatDown feels like the logical next step after years of trusting Malwarebytes for manual cleanup, now with full proactive protection and enterprise features. It gives me confidence we’re better covered for modern threats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Streamlined Endpoint Security"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown provides a very intuitive interface that makes day-to-day security monitoring fast and efficient. The deployment process is smooth, updates roll out seamlessly, and the platform consolidates multiple threat insights into one dashboard. Its lightweight agent runs quietly in the background while still offering deep visibility, which saves time and improves response accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

Reporting customization could be more flexible, as exporting detailed logs sometimes requires additional steps. Integration with certain third-party tools is available but not always as straightforward as expected, leading to some extra configuration work. A few advanced features take longer to master, especially for new administrators, which slightly slows down the initial learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup, User-Friendly Dashboard"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I really appreciate ThreatDown for its centralized deployment on all PCs and servers, as it saves me from the hassle of manually configuring each one. This feature is incredibly convenient. I love the dashboard; its aesthetic appeal and intuitive design make it easy to navigate and find features. Whenever I’m unsure about something, finding help is straightforward, which demonstrates how user-friendly ThreatDown is overall. Also, the initial setup of ThreatDown was very easy and straightforward, with support available to assist, making it a pleasant experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MSP ThreatDown review"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

One of the standout features of ThreatDown for me has been its customer support. Whenever I’ve encountered bugs or other issues, the support team has responded promptly and provided solutions, even when my concerns needed to be escalated to the development team. In addition to this excellent support, I’ve found the product itself to be reliable and highly customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

Like with any new tool, there is a learning curve when starting to use this product. The integrations are still being developed, but I have noticed they are steadily improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive EDR Solution with Strong Features, but Dashboard Needs More Flexibility"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown EDR provides robust capabilities such as device control, software inventory management, sandbox analysis, and granular policy fine-tuning. The recent feature enhancements are particularly valuable, allowing for better visibility and control across endpoints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The dashboard could benefit from greater customization and contextualization. More actionable metrics would be helpful; for example, consolidated views that correlate vulnerabilities, endpoint coverage, threat categories, and CVSS scores. This would provide a clearer picture of overall risk posture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind is Priceless"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Set it and forget it! Once I deploy the software, I trust the ThreatDown team to keep us safe. I know that the MDR team will handle everything top to bottom and that we are protected. I have loved this product since it was a free little secret few of us knew about! I was really happy to be able to bring it to my team and be able to manage it centrally. VERY happy - and really excited about the email protection recently added. Deployment is also a breeze! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

My only complaint is that sometimes the solutions are too techy for the regular end user. I would recommend a little more watered-down tech support for those users who are not as savvy. BUT the support team is ALWAYS SUPER helpful, and they get you there... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ThreatDown by MalwareBytes"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I really like the straightforward navigation and features. The value is incredible with the Threatdown Elite bundle and includes:

Incident response

Next-gen AV

Device Control

Application Block

Vulnerability Assessment

Browser Phishing Protection

Ransomware Rollback

Endpoint Detection & Response

Patch Management

Firewall Management

Managed Detection & Response (includes Threat Hunting)

I use most of these features, including MDR. TheatDown was very helpful in making sure the policies were set up correctly for the MDR, but I still have the freedom to change the settings.

They also offer 4 bundles, including an Ultimate bundle if you need more features. They do have server licensing as well.

We now have more than 20 servers and 100 Windows endpoints, but it is still easy to navigate. We count on this protection every day. It is easy to install and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The very nice dashboard gives scores for each module, but there is no way to hide the modules you don't use. This results in some low scores being presented. Not a big deal, but it bugs me.

Overall, a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind with Seamless Updates and Ransomware Protection"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

The ability to have the peace of mind of keeping up on OS updates as well as software patches all long protecting from ransomware is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

It took some time to learn how to set up the correct policies and firewall settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best EDR at the best cost"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Covers different attack vectors, and also includes with a single agent vulnerability analysis, Windows and third-party patches, email protection among other add-ons that are integrated according to the licensing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

Sometimes it takes a little longer than usual for the endpoints to adopt policies. It's not very frequent, but it has happened to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely effective, great support, highly compatible"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown is great because it just works. There is very little hassle to the setup and very rarely gives us issues. The customer service is top tier, by far one of the most pleasant vendors I work with. The primary selling point for us is that it plays nice with our existing AV and we haven't had any conflicts between the two. We've been using ThreatDown for a few years now and they just keep rolling out new features (without charging more). ThreatDown does exactly what you'd expect it to do and more. I can't recommend the product enough. Our incredible account manager has regular meetings scheduled and is always available. The few times we've had to open tickets they've been resolved promptly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

I honestly have a hard time thinking of anything I dislike. The only thing I've run into is that TOR isnt an application that can be blocked by the application block, but that's so incredibly minor I don't think it's even worth mentioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
