**What do you like best about Mailshake?**

What I like about MailShake is it's (1) Quick Learning Curve and Ease of Use - just one day from concept to campaign, (2) Very Good AI Support from withing the App, (3) Quick Email response to questions that AI could not answer (4) Intuitive Analytics to understand the results of a Campaign (5) the fact that Email sends from within by Gmail account.

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

We subscribed to Email Outreach which provides for two email accounts.  Would have like at least one more account since a campaign of any meaningful size will go out very slowly with only two email accounts.  I can always buy more.  Prospects are tied to Campaigns - Would like to be able create campaign lists that can be attached to Campaigns.  Would like to be able to download Opens and Clicks individually - I understand that some of this functionality may be available in Sales Engagement module.

**What problems is Mailshake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just using on our 3rd campaign but like the way MailShake can assist in structuring tiered emails thread and availability of AI to review and suggest improvements to text.  Also embedded email verification an improve delivery rates.

**What do you like best about Mailshake?**

I like that it is made for cold emailing. With other marketing platforms, it can be difficult to send emails out to companies we haven't made contact with previously

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

The platform itself has a lot of bugs and issues. I frequently run into errors, pages that won't load, and parts of the website that won't work. For example, just this morning, I attempted to run the list cleaner option, and I received an error message after 20 minutes of waiting stating that 'the list cleaner is having trouble updating your results.' I cancelled it and tried to re-run it, but it just kept reverting to a message stating that no lists are being cleaned. Also, support is almost non-existent and difficult to reach.

Mailshake allows my company to send out marketing emails to companies that we have not previously worked with.

**What do you like best about Mailshake?**

For the price, it cannot be beat. I've used it off and on since 2017 or so and it's gotten even better since then, obviously. There have been a lot of new companies that have come up and they have some cool features, but MailShake is just so much easier to use, while also giving you a lot more freedom. There aren't a lot of upsells like there are in SalesHandy or Instantly, and the UI is fairly simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

I can't say there's anything I *dislike*, aside from the price -- yet even that is cheaper than the competition, so I can't think of any real issues.

**What problems is Mailshake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps organize my cold outreach campaigns, especially with follow-ups. Yeah, you can do all of this stuff on your own, but you have to have a way to organize everything and keep track of opens, etc. It gets too hectic and MailShake is a simple solution that saves you many hours per day.

**What do you like best about Mailshake?**

The list cleaning is super helpful, but I have noticed that if I take the list of "bad" addresses and rerun it, I always end up with some more emails that were deemed "bad" the first time, but are "good" the second time.

The program remembers who has bounced/unsubscribed for you and will not send to those addresses if you accidentally include them in a contact list.

I enjoy all of the different reporting features and views that Mailshake has. It is super easy to check on your campaign health. 

With the spread out sending schedule, I enjoy that you can tweak your campaign message while it is still running if you find that something is affecting deliverability, like a poor subject line. Then you have a better chance of reaching inboxes that the blast has not gone to yet.

I like how many different teams we an have. It is super useful for our company, as we serve many different clients and can create a unique team for each of them.

The customer support is excellent. Super friendly and typically quick to respond. They know their products well, and can explain why something happened in addition to helping you fix it.

The different types of campaign that you can build to be launched automatically is super nice.

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

Sometimes it has a lag when you switch teams, and it will bounce you back into the team you are trying to switch away from 2-3 times before you can switch. It is not a bis issue, but a small, reoccurring annoyance.

I wish some features had autofill/remember me capabilities, like when you log in or are sending yourself a test email.

It would be nice if we could edit the footers/signatures with a tab that is in the campaign section. It can be irritating to fully exit a campaign to go to another tab and the click through all the previous campaign set up sections before reaching the design part again.

**What problems is Mailshake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our cold outreach has been very successful with Mailshake overall. We will send campaigns that have thousands of contact and get up to 50% open rates with minimal bounces! It is great that the software remembers who has bounced or unsubscribed for you and automatically removes these emails from your list. The activity account that it build around each contact is also very useful for teams that do all of their outreach based in Mailshake.

It's user-friendly, inexpensive and effective. Easy to integrate your CRM or any other apps.

You can start with a new account and launch revenue generating cold email campaigns immediately.

Initially it took less than 10 days to launch and signup a client who now generates us over $35,000 in annual revenue.

They have a great knowledge-base of articles to learn through as well.

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

Not much, it does exactly what I need it to do. Some people might want it to have more features, but it does what we need it to.

There are articles on the backend, but would be nice if there could be more support on not getting emails blacklisted or landing in SPAM as you're creating and launching campaigns.

**What do you like best about Mailshake?**

I really like how Mailshake enables me to send out emails to my lists without them getting caught in spam filters and allows me to distribute large numbers of emails at once. It also helps me monitor responses, which is pretty handy. Mailshake makes it easy for me to advertise my services to a large number of people. I appreciate how I can maintain contact lists and templates and use emails for different groups, returning to previous contacts throughout the year. Mailshake organizes everything in a very simple manner. Additionally, the setup was very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

Probably the only thing that doesn't work well for me is that it won't always send emails immediately. Because it wants to avoid me getting caught in a spam filter. So sometimes it waits  before commencing a campaign.. Sometimes I'd like to start a campaign immediately. It will allow that sometimes, but it rather depends on what I'm already doing, what campaigns I'm already running. It's not trying to be difficult or awkward. It's trying to protect me from getting caught in spam.

I use Mailshake to send email campaigns to my lists, avoid spam filters, and distribute emails in bulk. It helps me monitor responses, keep contact lists and templates, and organize everything simply for repeated outreach throughout the year.

Mailshake has been a solid tool for running outbound email campaigns at scale. The setup is straightforward and the interface is easy to navigate, even for people who are not particularly technical. I like the sequencing and automation features, which make follow ups consistent without feeling spammy. 

Deliverability has been good and the reporting gives enough insight to understand what is working and what needs adjusting. Overall, it saves a lot of time compared to managing outreach manually.

Not much to dislike about Mailshake, one of the best tools we have used.

As a small business, one of our biggest challenges was staying on top of outreach and follow ups with a lean team. Mailshake helps us automate and organise this without losing the personal touch. Our team can focus on conversations rather than admin, and we have much better visibility of who has been contacted and when.

**What do you like best about Mailshake?**

One of the best parts of my experience with Mailshake so far is the excellent customer support I've been getting from the company's care team. It's been a tremendous relief knowing that Andrea and Ismael will always respond promptly and conscientiously during business hours. To me, they seem more like good friends than tech support people I don't really know.

The platform has many wonderful features. One of my favorites is Office Hours, held at the same time every week (on Wednesday). It's great to be able to drop in to ask your questions, get feedback and listen/learn from other subscribers.

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

There is admittedly a certain learning curve involved with using the platform. Also, it does have its limitations and bugs, though I believe that the company will work toward improving what needs to be improved upon. In addition to that, support is limited to business hours M-F Eastern. It would probably have to be more expensive if that were not the case, so it's an acceptable tradeoff.

**What problems is Mailshake solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simply stated, Mailshake makes it possible for us to conduct our outreach campaign in a way that is manageable and effective. I did a lot of research before signing up for Mailshake. One major reason I decided on this platform is that it’s feature-rich without being so complicated that I would have too much difficulty using it. So far, I haven’t been disappointed—and I’m looking forward to being able to make even better use of the service during the weeks ahead (I know I haven’t yet taken full advantage of everything I could have).

Lately, what I’ve been appreciating even more is how easy it is to adjust campaigns on the fly. Making quick changes to sequences, pausing leads, or reviewing performance doesn’t feel clunky or time-consuming. The interface stays clean and intuitive, which makes day-to-day outreach much smoother, especially when you’re managing multiple campaigns at once.

One area that could be improved is how automated replies are handled. Occasionally, things like spam filter notices or auto-generated blocks are counted as real replies, which can be a bit misleading when reviewing leads. It’s not a major issue, but better filtering between genuine responses and automated messages would make reporting even clearer.

Mailshake helps me organize and scale my outreach without having to manually send dozens of emails every day. It solves the problem of staying consistent with follow-ups and keeping my messaging structured. Simple but powerful.  There is nothing worse than having software that can do a lot of things that are not useful.  Mailshake does the powerful things extremely well and leaves out the "cool but not useful" features.

Nothing.  It does what I need it to do and it does it well.

I don't have time to train and retrain my sales team how to effectively use a CRM and lead generating app.  Mailshake is simple but powerful.  Plus, I don't want my sales team to spend time doing things that don't generate money (for me and for them).

I like the ease of use with the interface. The email warm up tool is great as well and after talking to some of my colleagues that use other email campaign programs, I believe it is effective in keeping the spam score low and leads to much higher open rates.

I wish that it included the use of two domains for the base price, but that's just me being cheap haha. It honestly is pretty darn simple to use and I can't think of anything I'd like to see them change.

This is helpful since my ad spend budget is small in this early stage of ramping up. The sequencing that I can do of campaigns and it's very user friednly. A non technical person can also setup email marketing campaigns

The interface feels outdated and like 90s. See new tools like google ads, SEMRUSH etc. - bright and vibrant colours, nice buttons. That actually keeps the person hooked and makes you love the product even if the work is boring.

To help us send email in bulk, do sequencing for multiple email, follow ups etc. It has made a our BD job easy and we don't have to hire a junior resource now.

I love how Mailshake allows me to automate and personalize our outreach efficiently. I'd love the ability to adjust the time zones by campaign rather than just by email address. For some clients, they reside in Asia, Australia, Europe, etc. and to send emails during their workday without pausing other campaigns or opening new emails would be excellent.

Sometimes company details get mixed up, especially if you’ve uploaded the same CSV file multiple times with different headers. Also, it doesn’t have a Chrome extension to help with prospect filtering as Buzzstream does.

Nothing to report—it's been fine so far, with no issues. The only suggestion I have is to provide a hint when parameters in HubSpot aren’t available, so it’s clear that this is the reason there’s no prospect input.

The main issue I have is that there isn't an option to edit or delete multiple prospects at once. This lack of bulk editing or deletion makes managing prospects less efficient for me.

It's easy to use, practical, fast, and makes sending automated emails much easier. I also enjoy the live online sessions, where they give tips on how to write better emails, teach new users how to use the platform, and answer questions about the platform. Not to mention that customer support is super fast and accessible, and they're always innovating, such as using AI within the platform to write better emails.

**What do you dislike about Mailshake?**

A/B testing can be a bit confusing, as when we try to move a contact from A to B, it always gives an error. And when we add new contacts to a campaign using an Excel contact list, sometimes some contacts are missing. For example, my list has 100 contacts, but when I import them into Mailshake, only 98 are added to the campaign.

Previously, I used to send emails and manage my contact list using large Excel spreadsheets. After using Mailshake, things have become much easier, as all emails are sent in just a few clicks and without errors.

I totally like, the automation of the email outreach. I don't have to monitor everything. Just set up the mails and the prospects and let's go. My work after setting all up is just collecting the leads and updating prospects. Another cool addition is, that Mailshake also finds prospects for you. I totally love it and I already have recommended it to some friends. Mailshake makes your life easier. Customer support is very helpful and very quick in solving problems. They also explain it to you in a way everyone understands. I will use Mailshake for all my email outreach campaigns. The best part of it is, that i don't send anything out, but everything is sent out from my email adress.

We only use the email function, not the phone calls. And even with only that it's an essential tool we use across many different needs like link building, pr outreach, cold sales outreach, and even HR when we need to send out a big bulk mail but can't use our newsletter system. 

Right now running a cold sales outreach campaign and the value is already looking to be in the five to six figures.

I like that its reliable and still works as well as it did when we signed up years ago.

This is tough as its UX has not changed a lot over time, BUT that is also kinda helpful as we are not needing to always learn the new process for something (like Clickup has us doing).

I love how fast and easy it was for us to get up and going with our first email campaign. I like to jump right in and learn on the fly when implementing new things, making it up as I go along. Other platforms required too much setup and weren't nearly as intuitive. I was able to get our first campaign off the ground almost immediately. The stats are addicting to watch as emails are opened, clicked, etc. Very nice to be able to see these details so clearly for each campaign.

I wish there was a way within Mailshake to host images to be included with the email campaigns rather than having to use another hosting service. I would pay more for this.

Setting up A/B testing is easy, the AI assistant can shake up the segments so your emails are varied and diverse. 

Overall, great product, I use it daily.

The customer service is very helpful.  They get back to you right away. I highly recommend the weekly webinar educational meetings they have as it's important to learn this up front.  We have had some challenges getting our domain set up so we don't get flagged as spam and the customer service team has helped greatly.  We are now ready to dive in and begin.  I've sent out my first campaign and can see the stats.  From there, I now know how to proceed.  My emails are being opened which is a good sign.  The AI tools are extremely helpful in making sure your emails are well written and meet deliverability standards and so the recipient opens.

There's not much so far that I don't like.  I have been unable to jump into the meat and potatoes of it all until this week.  I'm looking forward to learning more about it so I can utilize it's full potential.
