What I value most is having the filing, the accounting guidance, and the analysis in one place. I can open a company’s reported financials, compare its accounting policies with a peer’s, and trace a conclusion back to the filing or guidance behind it. The policy draft also follows a familiar working paper structure, which makes it easier to review and refine. For me, the biggest benefit is spending less time gathering source material and more time evaluating the accounting question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main limitation is that Lumacount currently works from public filings rather than my company’s internal ledger. That makes it useful for peer benchmarking, accounting policy research, and analysis of reported results, but I can’t yet use it to analyze our own transactions or account balances directly. I’d also like broader coverage of private companies as the product develops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
