"User-friendly diagramming for cloud infrastructure, system design, and workflows"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Lucidchart is a straightforward tool to learn, and its organization makes it my go-to tool for diagramming cloud infrastructure. Over the past ~8 years, I have used Lucidchart to diagram many systems and infrastructures. The shapes library is comprehensive, and the ability to add your own objects has come in handy. Coming from MS Visio, I found Lucidchart to be much more intuitive to use, and the baked-in feature sets for sharing and presenting have also been quite helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I have no complaints thus far. Typically any issues I have run into are due to my own error, namely around the orientation of objects and alignment of connectors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Flowchart Creation with LucidChart Gemini AI"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

LucidChart Gemini AI was easy to learn and create Flowchart Diagrams quickly and without almost any rework. It was fairly easy to play with prompts and get better. The documentation helps I found helped me to use the system. This was my first time using this, and I completed a project in a few hours over two days instead of needing a lot more days by making Flowcharting Diagrams manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I needed to figure out how to make additional prompts without chaining on prior prompts. I had to refresh and put on different Layers. It might be easier if it is clear with a button to end a prompt diagram and start a new one as separate items. Also, need to understand how to rerun a prompt after editing it, so it just redoes the Flowcharting Diagram. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Essential Tool for Visual Project Planning"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Lucid makes it incredibly easy to turn complex ideas into clear visuals: flowcharts, process maps, org charts, wireframes, journey maps, all in minutes. It’s especially good at helping teams align quickly around ideas that would be messy in text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The main drawback of the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that it can feel pricey. It's slightly clunky at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review of the Lucidchart after use one month"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Now Lucid using AI features to create different flow charts and you can even chat with the flow chart. We can edit the flow chart or it can answer questions about your canvas, help generate summaries, and act like a “collaborator” on diagrams/boards. It can also convert text to block diagram which is very advance features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Currently Lucid has made all features which users required to design any type of flow chart or models design. So as of now I cannot say any feature less. But if they introduce voice features also means even after generating flow chart..user can directly talk with the flow chart instead of type..then it will be very useful. "An innovative solution continuously evolving"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has surpassed my expectations with the integration of AI and other enhancements over the past 6 months. The interface continues to be dynamic, easy to work around and makes work tasks enjoyable. There is a "help" feature that is quite useful too, which guides you on where to find tools and how to use some components. It is also equipped with videos for easy learning to catch up on how to use new features, and refresh your memory on how to use the existing features. These tools have improved my skillset and productivity and I am quite happy with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I cannot think of any improvements at the moment, but I do appreciate that there is always a feedback loop with Lucid, when it comes to testing new features before it is launched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Flexible for Creative Collaborations"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I really like how easy the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is to use. The user interface offers a wide variety of shapes and flowchart options without the need for extensive searching, which makes it straightforward and efficient for creating diagrams. Having previously used Canva, I found Lucid's UI to be simpler to understand, particularly since I had never used Lucid before. It's very user-friendly and accessible, facilitating my ability to outline architecture diagrams and gain a structured, big-picture understanding of any system I'm implementing. I also appreciate its flexibility in designing and brainstorming, allowing me to move boxes and arrows with ease compared to the limitations of pen and paper. This ability to brainstorm and organize my ideas visually before piecing everything together is instrumental in my workflow. Additionally, I find the setup process to be very simple, which enhances my overall experience with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I've noticed that when I create a diagram using the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, it can look different each time, even when I'm using the flowchart template or other default templates. This inconsistency could be specific to my team, but it feels like the defaults or template settings aren't clearly defined or pre-chosen. As a result, starting from scratch might lead to different outcomes for different users. It would be helpful if there was a way to standardize or pre-select folder templates to ensure consistency (if it doesn't exist already). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Collaboration Tool with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I love using the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map out operational workflows and visualize complex supply chain processes. It excellently facilitates coordination in cross-department planning, ensuring that our teams in operations, finance, and customer service stay aligned. The feature I enjoy most about it is its ease of use in building process maps that make even the most complicated logistics workflows understandable. The ability to collaborate in real-time by adding comments, adjusting steps, and reviewing dependencies together significantly streamlines cross-department planning. Additionally, the initial setup was remarkably easy—I was able to create an account, join my organization's workspace, and start mapping out workflows within just a few minutes. The interface is intuitive, which means I didn't need any training to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The main issue I encounter with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is managing very large workflows. Once a process involves dozens of steps and decision points, the canvas starts to feel cramped and becomes a bit slow. Additionally, I wish Lucid had more supply chain-specific shapes and templates, like standard logistics symbols or prebuilt shipment tracking flows, so I wouldn't have to build them manually each time. "A Powerful Tool for Visual Collaboration"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I really like how easy it is to turn ideas into visuals. The drag-and-drop interface makes mapping processes, creating flowcharts, or brainstorming with the team feel effortless. Even people who aren’t very “design-savvy” can create clean diagrams quickly.Instead of talking in circles, we just open a Lucid board and sketch things out together. It genuinely makes collaboration smoother and keeps everyone on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Sometimes the interface feels a bit heavy, especially when working on large boards. It can lag or take a moment to load all elements, which interrupts the flow a little. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lucidchart Makes Complex Workflows Effortless and Visually Clear"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I absolutely enjoyed working with Lucidchart! I recently used it to map out a workflow, which involved an extensive series of decisions and actions—easily over 100 individual steps including approvals, data checks, notifications, and follow-ups. On a previous platform, trying to format and align all of these elements took me days, and it still didn’t look organized. With Lucidchart, I was able to create a clear, professional, and fully functional workflow in just a few hours. The intuitive interface, smart alignment tools, and ability to easily connect complex steps made an overwhelming process feel completely manageable. Lucidchart not only saved me an enormous amount of time but also made a highly complex workflow visually understandable at a glance. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone dealing with intricate processes—they’ve truly streamlined what would otherwise be an exhausting task! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The only challenges I experienced with Lucidchart were related to the complexity of large workflows and a few missing AI-assisted features. As someone relatively new to workflow mapping, understanding connectors and how to properly link actions took a bit of time. I also wish there were an AI integration that could analyze my workflow, identify duplicate action items, and suggest an optimized layout—especially for a workflow as extensive as mine, which had over 100 decisions and actions. Being able to automatically detect redundancies and visually streamline the flow would have saved additional time and made the process even more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Visual Planning, Needs Better Performance"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I appreciate how Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows me to easily sketch out network diagrams, map device configurations, and outline infrastructure changes without the need for specialized design skills. This simplicity in creating clear and readable diagrams significantly aids in visually planning system updates and communicating these plans effectively to non-technical teams. The tool breaks down complex network setups into understandable visual formats, reducing confusion during planning. Also, the initial setup was straightforward, enabling me to quickly sign up, join my organization's workspace, and start building basic network diagrams almost immediately. The straightforward interface is particularly beneficial, even for new users, making the transition to using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite quite seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I find the network diagramming tools to be quite limited, which often forces me to create or import my own icons since the default library doesn't cover all the devices we use. Additionally, working with large diagrams can become sluggish, making it challenging to map out full infrastructure layouts without having to break them into smaller sections. "Streamlines Early Design Communication"
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I appreciate how the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps me communicate complex product ideas early in the development cycle. It allows me to quickly sketch out system architectures and show how components interact, which aligns engineers, designers, and manufacturing partners before we invest time in CAD models or prototypes. The suite provides a shared visual reference that reduces misunderstandings between engineering, product, and manufacturing teams by giving us a common framework during brainstorming and planning sessions. I find it invaluable for visualizing prototypes and system architecture, which streamlines coordination across my cross-functional team early in the engineering process. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy and intuitive, enabling me to create an account, join my team's workspace, and start building system diagrams within minutes without a steep learning curve. Most of the tools felt intuitive right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The main issue I run into with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that complex engineering diagrams can become visually crowded quickly. Managing spacing or layering requires more manual effort than I would like. Furthermore, I wish Lucid offered more engineering-focused templates, such as prebuilt system architecture blocks, electronics schematics, or standard mechanical flow diagrams. This would save me from recreating common elements from scratch each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
