Lubuntu is very light and efficient. I use it on old and low-end machines for network automation tasks. Its low resource consumption is ideal for embedded systems and IoT applications. The LXQt interface is intuitive, agile, and fast for me. Overall, it is an excellent choice for system administrators who need a productive environment, without bloatware and without complications. The documentation is limited compared to Ubuntu. Sometimes there is a lack of hardware support for newer devices. The ecosystem of available applications is smaller. Take more time on security updates compared to larger distributions. Some learning curve for very beginner users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
