## About LogicManager
LogicManager is an Enterprise Risk Management platform that helps organizations identify, assess, monitor, report, and improve risk management activities across the entire risk lifecycle. Since 2006, LogicManager has supported enterprise risk leaders, process owners, executives, and oversight teams in building risk-based programs that connect people, processes, controls, vendors, objectives, incidents, and reporting in one system. Unlike traditional GRC tools that often manage risks, controls, and compliance activities in isolation, LogicManager’s ERM approach is designed to show how risk moves across the business and how it affects performance, accountability, and decision-making. LogicManager is powered by Risk Ripple Intelligence, a connected risk model that helps organizations understand relationships between risks, controls, processes, departments, vendors, and objectives. This structure helps teams identify hidden dependencies, understand downstream impacts, and create a more complete view of their risk landscape. The platform supports oversight and separation of duties by helping organizations define ownership, assign responsibilities, manage approvals, track issues, monitor controls, and report results to leadership. LogicManager also includes out-of-the-box board reporting and configurable dashboards that help teams communicate risk information clearly to executives, boards, and oversight committees. LogicManager’s Risk Maturity Model provides an umbrella framework for building and maturing a risk program. Because most major risk, compliance, and governance frameworks share a common foundation, the RMM helps organizations address the approximately 90% of requirements that are common across frameworks, leaving teams to focus on the framework-specific 10%. This reduces duplicated effort and gives teams a structured foundation for continuous improvement. Key capabilities and value propositions include: - Manage the full risk lifecycle, from identification and assessment to monitoring, reporting, and program improvement. - Use Risk Ripple Intelligence to connect risks, controls, processes, vendors, departments, and objectives. - Support oversight, accountability, approvals, and separation of duties across risk activities. - Create board-ready visibility with out-of-the-box reports and configurable dashboards. - Accelerate program maturity with the Risk Maturity Model, guided onboarding, embedded expertise, and best-practice frameworks. LogicManager is designed for mid-market and enterprise organizations, especially regulated, complex, or highly distributed teams managing enterprise risk, operational resilience, third-party risk, business continuity, internal controls, issue management, cybersecurity risk, and executive reporting. With LogicManager Expert — LMX — users can access AI-powered guidance based on trusted LogicManager University content to help apply best practices, reduce manual follow-ups, and work more efficiently within their risk program.

## LogicManager Reviews
  ### 1. Comprehensive GRC and BC/DR Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Senior Business Resiliency Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

LogicManager provides a centralized, end-to-end system for governance, compliance, and regulatory programs. It also enables a centralized platform to manage a business continuity or business resiliency program while also collecting data that supports disaster recovery. LogicManager's taxonomy enables business continuity managers to connect applications to the business processes that depend on them, vendors that support them, employees who complete the process, and the other assets involved. The reports from this data are fantastic enablers for completing a business impact analysis and identifying dependencies that create risks.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

LogicManager has a steep learning curve, but they have greatly improved their e-learning, and the added videos are a great addition.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogicManager, as a central repository for data about our business processes and supporting assets, allows me to quickly reference information about any process a team performs and what they rely on to perform that task. LogicManager helps me identify where our gaps exist and where to prioritize resources to mitigate risks associated with dependencies.

  ### 2. HOORAY! PURCHASING MORE MODULES

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MALINDA C. | SR GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE MANAGER, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

We were looking to develop a database to track litigation and outside counsel invoices. While reviewing LogicManager, I noticed it includes Litigation/Legal Issues Tracking under Events, and we were thrilled to see it was exactly what we needed. We’re now working with the Onboarding & Enablement Manager to build out the forms, fields, and workflow. Totally awesome!

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

The workflow overview is too small and needs upgrading to display the entire workflow without requiring excessive navigation up and down the page.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping us develop our internal auditing platform. We’re also considering purchasing the ERM platform, and we’re currently reviewing the Vendor Management platform.

**Official Response from Katrina Schmelter:**

> Thank you so much for the kind review and for taking the time to share your experience.

It means a lot to hear that the quarterly updates, product enhancements, and training sessions have been helpful to your team. We’re always working to improve the platform and provide practical guidance so organizations can stay compliant and strengthen accountability across their programs.

We also appreciate your suggestion about the workflow overview. Feedback like this helps us continue improving the user experience.

Thank you again, Malinda. We really value your engagement and appreciate how proactive you are in partnering with our team!

  ### 3. Was a Great Product...

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2024

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

The platform is very easy to understand at a high level and users/administrators need very little training to begin utilizing it. I am the primary system administrator and there have been several iterations of how we have implemented our controls in LogicManager. Each time we have made sweeping changes the support team has been incredibly helpful and assisted in any way necessary (uploading spreadsheets / creating reports / etc...).

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

The re-negotiation process has been "interesting' to say the least. We have been customers for 9 years and were basically ghosted by our LogicManager support team. We are required to do an RFP every 3 years and our rate increase was a staggering 560%. The response was held until there was only a few hours left in the RFP which burned significant time. I assumed we would stay loyal customers until this disrespectful response.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a massive amount of recurring tasks that need to be managed for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Compliance. LogicManager organizes and does most of the heavy lifing as far as reminders and tasks are concerned, saving me tons of time. We also have recently migrated our Risk Acceptance process into the platform which will save us tons of time and combine several different processes that were happening into one common process.

**Official Response from Katrina Schmelter:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly value your nine years of partnership.

We’re sorry to hear the recent RFP process felt frustrating. As part of the RFP, our impression was that we needed to work within a more formal structure, including sharing pricing through the official submission, and we were trying to be respectful of that. If we misinterpreted that along the way and it led to a slower experience than you expected, we apologize.

Your partnership means a great deal to us, and we welcome the opportunity to connect directly and better support you moving forward.

  ### 4. Weak Audit Trail and Delayed Plan Updates Make Reporting Hard

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudio A. | Operational Risk Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

It has ok customization, but sometimes they force their reports/customizations on you, and it does not come out as you want.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

Does not have a good audit trail when changes are made, you have to figure out how to configure a report to pull an audit trail. Changes made to plans are not immediately reflected when printing out the plan/report it takes an overnight update for that to show or a forced refresh, but if you force a refresh without letting other users know it could mess up the changes they are making.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GRC tool that allows compliance and audit to be involved.

**Official Response from Katrina Schmelter:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate you highlighting your experience.

Some of the challenges you mentioned, particularly around audit trail visibility and report updates, may be related to how your LogicManager environment is configured. LogicManager does support change tracking and audit trail reporting, but depending on configuration, those details may not appear automatically in certain reports.

We recommend reaching out to your organization’s LogicManager administrator and asking them to connect with your Customer Success team to schedule a training session. We offer complimentary 1:1 sessions where our team can review your environment, walk through reporting options, and help ensure the platform is configured to support the visibility and reporting your team needs. You may also find helpful guidance in LogicManager University (LMU), which includes resources on reporting.

If you are unsure who your admin is, our Customer Success and Support teams are always happy to help point you in the right direction.

Thank you again for the feedback.

  ### 5. Automation and Direct Vendor Communication That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian G. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

We used to to vendor management by worksheets, now with automation and direct communication to the vendor it frees up so much of my time.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

Some of the screens take a bit of digging to find, and they aren’t always easy to locate right away.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendor management has freed up so much of our time, and it’s made the whole process feel much easier to handle.

  ### 6. Easy to track and share tasks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lauren l. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

The best part about logic manager is that it makes it easy to share tasks and track progress. The task list section is also very straightforward and makes it simple to complete tasks.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

Searching for different projects or models can be hard.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining our workflows and reducing bottleneck issues.

  ### 7. Intuitive, User-Friendly Compliance Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

I really like that LogicManager is user friendly and intuitive, making it easy to follow along with the dashboard. It allows the task onus to remain with one individual while documenting progress to implement requirements across the organization. The initial setup was easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

The process to log notes and attachments could be included on the main dashboard instead of logging into each individual ticket. Adding a form field to drag and drop attachments to a ticket without logging into the ticket record.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LogicManager to track employer and benefits-related regulatory compliance, ensuring tasks are correctly assigned and progress is well-documented.

**Official Response from Katrina Schmelter:**

> We’re glad to hear the platform has been intuitive for your team and that the setup process was smooth. It’s great to know LogicManager is helping you track regulatory compliance and keep tasks clearly assigned and documented across your organization.

We also appreciate your suggestion about adding notes and attachments directly from the dashboard. Feedback like this helps us continue improving the user experience.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback and for being part of the LogicManager community.

  ### 8. Well-Organized Forms and Tabs That Are Easy to Navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

I like the different tabs and the overall layout of the forms. Everything feels well organized and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

Honestly, nothing specific comes to mind. Overall, I feel it’s a good platform.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a very clean report of critical and valuable information.

  ### 9. Helpful Workflow Tracking, But Needs Better Automated Overdue Remediation Tasks

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

Automated workflows and tracking of issues and findings, some reporting features are helpful but could use more.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

Things to be able to happen more automatically, like if an issue or finding goes past a target remediation date there should be a task sent to the responsible person to update the due date.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking issues and findings in one location and sending out reminders for monthly updates. Logic Manager is also providing a risk acceptance exception tracking and monitoring program for us.

  ### 10. Flexible Incident Reporting Options That Are Truly Helpful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alisson M. | Member Engagement Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about LogicManager?**

It has many options to report on incidents that need to be specified. Such as injuries or people that were present during the situation.

**What do you dislike about LogicManager?**

Off the top of my head, I cannot think of anything that I dislike about the program. It seems very helpful when I have needed to use it.

**What problems is LogicManager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving reports, benefits me because it is thorough and allows me to explain in detail what occurred.
