"Linux is the only open-source Operating System"

5/5

What do you like best about Linx?

Linux is an open-source operating system. If there is any problem with a built-in application or in the driver of a hardware unit, just by knowing the C language, we can modify the application code and driver software. Additionally, we can use more than one kernel version on a single Linux PC. On the other hand, we can learn more and easily understand the internal architecture of the OS and its processes. Linux alone has the capability to accommodate changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linx?

Nothing. I only like the Linux Ubuntu distribution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Linx:

If anybody really wants to understand what an OS is and its internals, I would recommend them to start using and working with Linux. Here you can find Linux source code, and with your customization, we can build our own Linux (custom kernel and root file system). If we are familiar with Linux, this will help us work more with embedded boards like iMX8, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, etc. All these are Linux with different board support distributions and customization. What problems is Linx solving and how is that benefiting you?

Driver customization and Kernel customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
