The technical content can be outdated, although that might have changed from the last time I've used it.

The ease of the courses and the vast variety of courses offered are some of my favorite things about LinkedIn Learning.

As most things, the need for a paid membership for this service was unsavory (although I used this via my company so I can't comment on that specifically).

Think about how many time commitments you have eon your plate and, realistically, how much time you have to dedicate to these classes. What you put in is what you will get out!

The best part is the people who teach you on LinkedIn are the professionals of the subject matter. They do have bookish knowledge and practical knowledge about the subject, which makes the learning very effective.

It is the best way to add and learn new skills to my resume or my team's profile. It offers a wide variety of entirely flexible, consistent courses paced with my availability.

There are no degree or certificates provided after the completion of training (except the one on LinkedIn),hence they cannot be validated. It also requires a premium subscription to LinkedIn and there is no available option for per session purchasing.

It is a brilliant way to train myself and my team simultaneously on the same topic before starting any alien project. LinkedIn develops and maintains the learning level of all team members at par which leads to better execution/implementation of the project.

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

The variety of content, the ease of finding at least a few videos on just about any topic you want to learn, and the fact that they work closely with companies to provide this services to employees for free. I also love that you can log in with Single Sign On (SSO) via your company. It makes it easier to hop in and find a topic to learn.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aqsa O. | Librarian , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2021

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Very informative but easy layout and makes it easy to acquire the certs with the in-depth topic discussions. Also there is a lot of information on the website so if there was ever a need to brush up on some skills or try to gain knowledge on anything within the industry I knew I could turn to Linked in Learning

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Not sure how impactful the certifications are to recruiters are if they help in the long run. I think a way to help this would be to show how impactful these certs are or take partnerships with company's that will make you stand out more if you have taken certain courses. I had heard from some people that the courses were not that helpful I disagreed but that is still some thing that is often said about some course sp should be looked in to

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Definitely take advantage if your company offers it

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me by expanding my knowledge in easy to access courses that are necessary for my job. For example I had no prior experience with ITIL so i had to take a course and it ended up benefiting me in my job and helped me attain the knowledge that my manager wanted me to attain without requiring a three day course where I would only have that course and no time to do actually work so it was a real benefit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henil D. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2020

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

What I like the most about LinkedIn Learning is, there are so many short courses available to get the good idea about a concept or technology. For example, you want to learn technology like Angular, there are so many short hands-on courses available to learn about it from scratch.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I would really like if they introduce university courses and long, comprehensive courses, so that people can also gain deep knowledge about the corresponding topic.

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I like the range of learning topics. there really is something for everyone

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I wished it integrated more with my LMS, Cornerstone on Demand. Some employees don't want to have to log into both systems to use the learning. I have to run reports twice to see course completion because my LMS doesn't "take" partially completed LinkedIn courses.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to personally write and create all the courses on all the topics anyone would want to learn about. I don't have the capacity to be a full-time instructional designer and I certainly don't know all of the things about all of the topics in all of the world.

Linkedin Learning provides a great opportunity for gaining industry knowledge and gives users a platform to study and hone their craft. Also comes with a shiny certificate at the end for credientials.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shreshthi M. | HRIS Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

The best thing about LinkedIn Learning is that it is integrated with your LinkedIn account. The tool has access to your job profile, subjects of interest, skills and areas of expertise. Due to this, courses are automatically recommended based on your profile.

It is a rich repository of learning resources. I really like the graphics in some of the trainings. I can also upload my own content and share resources with my colleagues.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

There is nothing I do not like about this software. It even has a training about how to use LinkedIn learning and leverage the tool during job search.

The only recommendation I have is that the certificates of course completion are given out by LinkedIn. It would be nice if Linkedin Learning could offer certified courses by other training institutes. Possibly this could be incorporated in future.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

LinkedIn Learning has so many inbuilt courses that it is possible to get lost in the sea of information. It would be nice to create folders with recommended course before going live.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn learning has some trainings that are really good. I work with many employees of the baby boomer generation who are just learning to use computers. Certain basic skills like excel, power point and other computer basics are explained well. I felt the content is richer than you tube videos.

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I love that there is a plethora of training available to myself and my team!

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

One of the downsides is that the linkedin learning courses aren't company-related.. but they are still an excellent resources for things like soft skills, de-escalation, productivity, etc.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this to supplement our current learning system and benefit from the expansion of our library.

  ### 38. Useful introductory courses for a multitude of skills

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiny M. | Consultant, Capital Markets, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I studied finance but went on to discover a passion in writing. I was not willing to go back to school to study creative writing and I found that this platform can, not only provide practical skills, but it delivers them seamlessly with minimum fuss. I benefitted from LinkedIn Learning partnering with educational institutions tremendously.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Some courses are too short and do not go in depth. Additionally, this is not a credited institution, as such, there is limited recognition for these courses.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Once you start a course, aim to finish it and repeat some things to ensure actual learning. It is easy to put the video lessons in the background and simply listen to the lecture. However, important information can be lost this way and the platform appears as ineffective.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is no need to enrol in a time constraint online or physical class, I can take the courses at my own pace.

**Reviewed by:** Stiven N. | Electrical Engineer, Utilities, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

LinkedIn Learning is a great alternative to classroom courses. You can learn at your own convenience at home, in the office or while on the go on your smartphone.

The courses are created by professionals, hence, they are practical and interesting. Studying the courses immensely helped me bridge the skill gap in my profession. Not only was I more confident but also skilled and competent in my work.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

While LinkedIn Learning is amazing, but it can be overwhelming since there are so many incredible courses on the platform. This can lead to the shiny eye syndrome of wanting to learn everything new and that is impossible.
Furthermore, the courses are not accredited by professional accreditation boards.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

I would recommend LinkedIn learning to any professional who wants to be more competent at their work. The courses are practical and are created by professionals.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped sharpen my skills in areas I didn't feel confident in. It made me pursue relevant courses that would bridge the skill gap so I can be more confident in my profession.

  ### 41. I am conveniently taking extra courses on linkedin learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maryann N. | Civil Engineering Intern, Civil Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

LinkedIn learning is the best online learning tool primarily because it will recommend courses based on linked in feature to analyse your skill gap. With linked in learning comes the convenience of learning from any device at your own convenience. The inbuilt skill gap analysis feature is a huge plus when it comes to knowing whats current and relevant for your specific field.
It has so many learning material and the learning is quite interactive.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The skill gap analysis feature does not work very well because there has been times when it recommended to me courses that were quite irrelevant and outside my line of work so mostly I will search for the course myself.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Linkedin is a great way to stay learning. What makes it so phenomenal is that it works great on multiple platforms and this makes it very versatile and convenient.

Great way to learn or improve skills. There are so many courses to choose from it is simply great!
The way you can learn in your own time is an added benefit and the comprehension questions and exams ensure competency. Presenters are all talented individuals and makes for pleasant learning time.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The style of the courses can be very repetitive. However as there is a good mix of speakers its not a major problem.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

If you are wanting improve your own and your teams skills and give them opportunity to grow then i would fully recommend using Linkedin Learning. Invest time and money in training is key to success and i would say this is an inexpensive way of doing this.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees are encouraged to increase their skills by setting time aside for learning. Whats great is everyone has access to the same courses and there is something to suit everyone!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter M. | Civil Engineering Professional, Renewables & Environment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Linkedin learning is a very intuitive tool that has filled in a gap that had existed for a long time. First of all I love that it has so many courses and programmes The best thing I love about LinkedIn learning is that it recommends relevant courses based on my profile and field of study. It goes a long way in helping any person gain a competitive edge when making job searches.
The convenience is also key. With these courses, I am able to save alot of time that I would have otherwise used commuting to a classroom. I can take them at my convenience from any device of my choosing because linkedin learning has can also be used on mobile.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

While its a good thing that LinkedIn learning has too many relevant courses, at times I feel overwhelmed cause they are too many and it's impossible to pursue them all or even to make up your mind on which is more important.
Also, some people may argue that the programmes and courses are not as genuine and not compete with the ones we get from the classroom in an accredited college.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Linkedin learning is very important ,it performs a skill gap analysis and properly recommends the necessary courses any one person should pursue. It has helped me acquire more relevant skills that have added my confidence in my line of work.

  ### 44. LinkedIn is a very convenient and hassle free method of climbing up the co-operate ladder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayana Wanjira S. | Blogger and Internet marketer, Cosmetics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Linkedin learning is a very great way to upgrade your professional career. The tool is so practical and realistic; it recommends the relevant courses that are current and specific to your individual profession. Why I love Linkedin learning is that I am able to take up my courses at a time of my choosing hence the convenience. Also, it integrates very well with Linkedin job search and once you've completed a course LinkedIn helps to endorse your added skills for relevant job positions and recruiters.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The pricing is probably my only downside. I still feel that it could be adjusted lower to benefit more individuals who find it too pricey for their convenience.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

I would recommend LinkedIn learning to anyone who wants to benefit from learning but feels that regular school life is not the perfect solution for his or her individual needs.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using LinkedIn learning for some time now and what I especially love is the convenience that comes with using this tool.
I believe it's very relevant and necessary for modern-day learning because majority of the people cant juggle the regular school life and their work demands.

  ### 46. Linkedin learning is convient way to add to and develop your skill set

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadeen H. | Project Management , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

There are a range of potential courses in a wide range of areas, and because most of them are interactive videos you are not likeley
to get bored or lost in a lot of information.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The free trail period is only a month long, if it was longer I would have had more time to explore the wide range of courses on offer. Another downside is that sometimes the courses are too long in length when they have been more concise.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

LinkedIn learning is not only very easy to use but you can develop all sorts of skills with the range of courses. Also, you can allow your whole team of employees to use it. It is important to watch the videos as opposed to just listen to the course ad the diagrams and images help to enhance your understand of the topic. Additionally, some courses walk you through examples and the visual aid helps you to see exactly what is being done which like you are being given a private lesson. My advice would be to complete courses even if you think you are well informed in an area - there's always extra useful tips

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits of LinkedIn Learning are that you can do the courses at anytime and from any location, the best thing is that you can stop at any point in the courses and it will remember where you left off - so you can continue at any point.

LinkedIn learning solves the problem of having to send employees to training days to attend courses, which means they have to be out of the office. Also courses provide by external companies are often a lot more expensive than LinkedIn learning. Another major benefit of linkedin learning is that there is the option to 'Buy for my team' which allows you to let more than one employee access all the courses on offer, meaning they can complete their specific choice of courses at a time which is convenient for them.

It has a wide variety of courses that we can access from anywhere and at any time, in addition to being taught by specialists and professionals in the area. LinkedIn Learning is a great way to train at a distance and at our own pace. The platform allows you to save courses based on our profile and added skills, so it makes it even easier to search for some content, it is a tool that we can access regardless of our professional training. I like very much.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

LinkedIn Learning has very good courses, but it would be ideal if the contents are much more practical to facilitate learning even more.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

LinkedIn Learning is a tool that will help you and provide quality content to improve your capabilities and better online learning quickly and easily, which you can access from anywhere, from the comfort of your home or office through your user LinkedIn It is a very reliable and secure platform that has a large number of courses and content that cover all specialties and professions, very useful, I highly recommend it.

Previously I had to take face-to-face courses that I couldn't attend because of the schedules they offered, so with LinkedIn Learning I don't have that problem, saving time and money. It has helped me significantly to achieve better management is my daily tasks.

  ### 49. A good way to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher R. | Manager Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

The platform is aimed at making it easier for the user to find the courses that interest him. Depending on the skills you already have added to your Linkedin profile, the system will recommend what to learn now. It also recommends those skills that are generating more interest in your profession, offers you questionnaires, and lets you download the files of a course to study offline.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Some of the technical courses of some platform are very generic, so in order to learn something deeply, in all cases we cannot depend totally on that platform.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

I recommend taking courses on topics that benefit you in your user profile to improve your resume and strengthen conceptual knowledge in relation to your work area.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The range of courses it contains exceeds 5,000 specific courses in different subjects, and in different languages. Among its library we can find: courses to complement your business training in areas such as marketing or digital skills, courses to encourage your creativity, or to increase your technological skills. This gives us an opportunity to strengthen our professional skills and job opportunities. In addition, the courses are taught by experts with a long history in the training of different subjects.

The platform is structured in order for the user to find and access the courses that interest him in the simplest way possible. You can save in your library the formations that interest you, and count the courses that you are doing at the moment and those that you have done previously. Another advantage is that you are allowed to download the files of the course you are taking, in order to facilitate offline study.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janibel E. | Software QA Automation Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

In linked in learning you can find path for leaning an specific subject.

I can find really good courses for different topics of interest.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

As there are good courses also there are not that good courses too, and for some topics there are not that many courses listed. It would be better to increase the library of courses and tutorials.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

LinkedIn Learning can be a really excellent option for searching some specific courses and tutorials.
You can save your courses, track where you are at in all the courses you are taking in the moment or that are in you list.
You can star a course and if you stop watching it for a period of time when you come back and it will be tracked right where you left it.

You have the ability to remove a course from your history if it is not for you or if you did not like it. also you can share courses and them to a collection of yours.

You will have a section where you can see your learning history

Also you can search and find courses by categories depending on what are be your interests. There is a section where you can add the skills you are interested in.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the benefits I have found is that for an specific topic that I am interest and that I have search there are several good courses that are and have been useful for me.
