## Lineview Reviews
  ### 1. Insightful Dashboards and Strong Collaborative Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gareth P. | Continuous Improvement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

I like using LineView for analyzing our performance data on-site, which pinpoints where our losses and opportunities are. This is really helpful for our performance management meetings. I also appreciate how it allows us to assign projects and engineering resources effectively. The navigator feature, especially, with its insightful dashboards and detailed information, is a notable step improvement from the previous version. The collaboration with LineView has been positive, and the team's response to issues is pretty good. Having used it with Power BI in the past, I found creating bespoke dashboards to visualize data a real time saver. Overall, it's a valuable tool for supporting performance improvement.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

When I'm looking at the data, sometimes it can be a little bit of a light depending on when it's updated. Also, the initial setup, especially with the earlier system B five, was difficult and required a lot of resources and time. For the legacy lines, not having a full license on every machine center was challenging, especially when dealing with conveyor signals.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LineView gives us a clear view of where our losses and opportunities are, helping us address issues quickly. It integrates into our performance meetings and allows us to measure our KPIs effectively. It's also useful for assigning projects and managing resources.

  ### 2. CI usage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Lineview factory view (old lineview that is web based) is easy to navigate, extract information, visually managed to clearly show losses. The SIC function is easy to use and clear.

Lineview navigator is not as user friendly. The cloud based system has a user interface which is not as easy to navigate, use or clearly see where losses are. I think the positives of old LV need ported to navigator.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

I've stated that its navigator I don't enjoy using. The UI needs work, navigating through the different windows is not as easy as old LV. The visual management isnt as good either. It's definitely not as flexible either, using navigator, you can only view previous 7 day losses. Any larger timeframes require using the BI dashboards which are slow and not really useful anyway.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It shows losses on the lines which is good, navigator needs to overhauled and I'd suggest reviewing what went well with the web based version and replicating it to navigator.

  ### 3. Great line production data but too much manual work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Lineview helps us understand what’s happening on our production lines without needing to physically go and check the line. As a result, we can analyze the data using the information we see live in Lineview.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Some of the information we consider crucial for our analysis still has to be entered manually by our operators or floor leaders. This makes things more complicated for us, because our teams aren’t always available and can’t always take the time to input that information when they’re continuously working on the equipment.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lineview is helping us automate some of our manual work, which reduces the amount of information our operators have to enter. They’re also working on improvements to Navigator so we can better understand and view the reporting data coming from Lineview.

  ### 4. Easy to View Top-Level Data at a Glance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam R. | Operational Excellence, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

It’s easy to view top-level data and information at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Keep it simple. Unfortunately, I feel Lineview is moving away from what they do best and is overcomplicating something that already works well. There’s just too much going on in one place now, and I’m not sure how much of it actually adds value for the customer.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lineview doesn’t directly solve problems; it provides insights into where assets are not performing. However, the data isn’t valuable if it isn’t used, and the level of granularity I need is sometimes missing or too far between.

  ### 5. Intuitive UI, Smooth PLC Integration, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

LV ver. 5 has a fairly intuitive UI that allows operators to enter the necessary data to support line improvements and ongoing monitoring. It also integrates easily with line PLCs and the broader IT/OT infrastructure. Support has been quick and helpful across the board, with personable assistance from the customer care manager(s).

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Pricing is high compared to other options, both for licensing and for on-site support. It also needs a lot of server-side resources; otherwise, performance slows down. Another issue is that I’m unable to change historical errors in SKUs, etc.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collects runtime data and line performance, helps identify issues, and supports categorising errors and other problems. The metrics are clear and easy to understand.

  ### 6. Clear, Precise Collaboration That Keeps Everyone Aligned

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** carl h. | digital manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

The collaboration helped make the data clear and precise.
the software allows multiple users to react to the same issues and clearly shows these.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Admin updates to the new navigator platform have made learning the system an ever-evolving process, with changes that feel like a constant rotation.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Line stoppages under one minute that would normally be forgotten.

  ### 7. Instant Live View Access, Strong ERP Integration, and Improved Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Instant access to live view performance. Works with our ERP well and the team support has been better in recent years

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Cost of changes (even minor ones) is a limiting factor in some occasions. The UI is easy to navigate but the performance can be slow at times and it would be helpful to not have to refresh the live view intermittently

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to view the line without attending on site. Deeper understanding of issues being observed by operators and a signpost for technicians to address issues

  ### 8. Real-time analysis to apply corrections instantly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

The way of interpreting the results allows analyzing the information in real time and, in this way, apply the necessary corrections.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

In case of having two sites, it is necessary to exit one to be able to view the other, which would be more valuable if it were integrated into a single module.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers opportunities to detect critical and recurring failures, allowing corrective action to be taken first and then preventive measures to avoid major stoppages. This benefits the outcome of the operation.

  ### 9. Lineview is the first MES system installed on our site that adds value.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** andrew c. | Continuous Improvement Expert., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Up to date, easy to revue data, excellent customer support.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

As a global product, some of the KPI metrics are fixed and not fully aligned with other Suntory metrics.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly quantifies & identifies production losses.

  ### 10. Unmatched Real-Time Insights and Outstanding Support from Lineview

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakshith R. | Operational Excellence Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Lineview is incredibly insightful -it provides detailed, real-time visibility into every aspect of machine performance, down to the second. This level of detail makes it much easier to understand what’s happening on the line and identify opportunities for improvement.

Another big upside is the passion and support from the Lineview team. The Lineview site itself is full of useful resources, and people like Dave Barrett are especially helpful and knowledgeable, making the whole experience even more valuable.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

One downside of Lineview is that users have limited control over the interface. It would be even better if a more bespoke or customizable interface were available, allowing users to tailor the layout and display to their specific needs and preferences.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lineview solves the problem of limited visibility into production performance. It provides real-time insights into machine losses, tracking every second of performance - including speed, scheduled downtime, and unscheduled downtime. This level of detail helps teams quickly identify inefficiencies, reduce losses, and make data-driven improvements to overall line performance.
