I like Light's dashboard a lot—it looks slick, feels great, and is easy to navigate. The "Ask Light" function is a lifesaver, sparing me from raising support tickets by providing instant help when I need it. The Gmail integration is fantastic for automatically pulling receipts, and the Slack integration is a big time-saver for approvals. The approval system pings users directly, reducing the need for finance to chase people for tasks. I appreciate how efficient Light is in handling contracts and invoices, which helps in managing our SaaS business. It's modern, has a good feel, and the team genuinely supports product improvements. I think Light could improve in a couple of areas. Getting my head around some functionalities, particularly foreign revaluations, can be challenging. A bit more explanation during onboarding would really help, especially for multi-entity setups with different currencies. It would ease the stress of explaining changes due to foreign exchange rates in initial accounts. Also, while the initial setup was fairly easy, the communication early on during implementation wasn't as efficient as I'd have liked, which added some stress. Communication issues were ironed out as soon as Habib came on and he's been great throughout. For example, there's been back and forth with support tickets due to some bugs and issues, like not being able to issue Light cards to US staff without much explanation from Light upfront. These are small things that, if corrected, would make Light even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
