What do you like best about Leaflet.js?

Easy to create maps and supports the huge number of plugins. Lightweight, open-source JS library are the key things for loving this library. Being the Js developer, I always like to create the web-mapping and web-GIS functionalities easily. The leafletjs makes it easier to make the geoportal and share the maps easily all around the world. What do you dislike about Leaflet.js?

I frequently check the GitHub repo of this library. It seems like no one is maintaining properly this library. It has 29.7K stars but it has lots of open issues (428) and pulls requests(160). I also checked the gitter chat box, there as well not much response. People are not responding to the messages to the group. Please someone maintain the repo. What problems is Leaflet.js solving and how is that benefiting you?

As being the web-GIS developer, the map is the key thing. The visualization of the map from different sources and making some useful web-GIS basic functionalities (like, zoom in, zoom out, measuring distance/area etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
