It's used daily by inexperienced users after minimal training. The developer is very active in their public forums to provide support as needed, on top of a broad provider base who also give great support. The software is capable of connecting to multiple database sources via ODBC, which allows for an external system of record and lookup lists to standardize user entry. Installing, updating, and maintaining the software is fairly straightforward, as is utilizing it for low-code development of processes. **What do you dislike about Laserfiche?** Knowing what version of software is currently installed, compared to the latest version available. Reporting on Forms Processes is subpar. **What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?** Along with document management, we are beginning to use Laserfiche to digitize and automate various approval processes - transitioning from PDFs that move along the approval chain manually with the file being copied and emails for each step to allowing the system to notify approvers without any user being involved. ### 9. The simple-to-use GUI allowed us to rapidly create the necessary intake forms and route them to the appropriate people for approval. The documents end up in the same repository we're already using to store these forms in a digital format. Permissions are granular enough to allow the necessary staff quick access to the documents based on contextual metadata searches. It's a real time saver with the added benefit of tracking the form throughout the entire process. No more finger-pointing or missing forms. **What do you dislike about Laserfiche?** It seems the new forms wysiwyg designer is slowly being improved upon. This means that not everything you want to do in the forms designer is available quite yet. I like the ability to control where the form fields are located on the page, but I look forward to having all the customization options available. **What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before automating, forms were getting lost or held up by multiple copies showing up at different times. We also couldn't identify where the form was in the workflow process at any given time or who had it for how long. With the forms automation from LaserFiche, we know exactly where the form is at any time. It highlighted where improvements could be made and identified those on top of things. ### 49.
