What I like best about Lara Translate is how easy it is to translate images and audio clips. In my day-to-day work, while doing media curation, I often need to understand content in different languages. Instead of translating an entire document, I can simply take a screenshot of an image, upload it, and quickly get the translated text. It is also very useful for translating foreign-language audio, especially radio clips, which are usually difficult to understand with other translation tools. One thing I don't like about Lara Translate is that translated audio files are only available for a short time before they are removed. I understand this is done for security and privacy reasons, but it can be difficult in day-to-day media monitoring work. We often need to go back and review translations later for quality checks or while preparing monthly reports. If the original translated file is no longer available, we have to upload and translate the audio again, which creates extra work. It would be helpful if translated files could be stored for 30 to 60 days, giving users more time to review and reuse them when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
