"Smooth Kotzilla Integration and Helpful Performance Insights for Compose Multiplatform"

What do you like best about Kotzilla?

I had the chance to use Kotzilla on a Compose Multiplatform project, mostly out of curiosity since we were already using Koin. That made the integration especially smooth, with very little extra setup needed.

The analysis tools and dashboard reports turned out to be genuinely helpful for spotting and addressing several performance issues. I also really appreciated the MCP integration with Codex and Claude, which makes it easier to dig into what’s been detected and resolve problems faster—particularly when looking into application startup performance.

Overall, Kotzilla adds a valuable observability layer for Koin/Compose Multiplatform projects while still being relatively straightforward to integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kotzilla?

What problems is Kotzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?

Kotzilla is primarily helping me identify and resolve performance issues that directly impact the user experience, especially during application startup. As we know, slow startup times can quickly become frustrating for users and may ultimately affect engagement and retention, so being able to detect and understand these issues early is particularly valuable.

The dashboard provides a centralized view of performance issues and crashes, which makes it easier to assess the overall health of the application without having to rely on multiple separate tools. From a UI/UX perspective, having this information clearly surfaced in one place helps prioritize the issues that are most likely to affect users.

Another significant benefit is the MCP integration with AI coding assistants such as Codex and Claude. Instead of only identifying that a performance problem exists, I can bring the diagnostic information directly into my development workflow and use AI to investigate potential root causes and suggest improvements. This significantly shortens the feedback loop between detecting an issue, understanding it, and implementing a fix.

For me, this is where Kotzilla provides the most value: it combines observability, performance monitoring, crash reporting, and AI-assisted investigation into a single workflow, helping me spend less time diagnosing problems and more time actually improving the application.
