I really like Kommunity's slick design and feature set. It helps you to create your own community around events as easy as Eventbrite. Once you have created a community it's easy to invite them for your upcoming events. They also have mobile apps so I think it's a good alternative to Eventbrite or others. Kommunity focuses mostly on developer events & communities since its first days, and there is not enough diversity on the site. So if you want to discover social events/communities it can be hard to find out. Also, it's a kind of barrier if you are creating your first event/community for non-developers.
