  ### 1. A simple yet flexible PSA for consulting firms on Salesforce

**What do you like best about Klient PSA?**

As a PSA implementation expert, I’ve worked with many different PSA tools on Salesforce. While a lot of them offer similar features, in my experience Klient PSA stands out.

The tool is usable out of the box with very few tweaks, which makes adoption much easier. At the same time, if you do need to customize it to better fit your processes, it’s highly flexible and can adapt well to different consulting workflows. This balance between simplicity and flexibility is one of its biggest strengths.

Another strong differentiator is the support team. They’re very responsive, clearly listen to customer feedback, and consistently deliver solid monthly updates. The regular webinars explaining new features are also a nice touch and make it easier to stay on top of improvements.

Having implemented both Klient PSA and Certinia PSA across many Salesforce consulting firms, I’ve consistently found Klient to be the better fit for small to mid-sized teams looking for a simpler, more adaptable PSA without enterprise overhead.

**What do you dislike about Klient PSA?**

The revenue recognition capabilities in Klient PSA are not as strong as some of its competitors. That said, for most clients this hasn’t been a dealbreaker, as revenue recognition is often handled in the financial system rather than directly in the PSA.

The comparison between project baselines is also more limited than what some enterprise PSA tools offer. However, this hasn’t come up often in the implementations I’ve worked on, and it appears this is being addressed through the upcoming Project Snap workspace on their roadmap.

Finally, the tool could benefit from having a customizable PDF generation option for proposals, as this functionality is currently not available.

**What problems is Klient PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klient PSA helps replace spreadsheet-based project tracking, time entry, and invoicing with a clean, Salesforce-native solution. It reduces friction around managing projects and billing while keeping everything in one place.

I use it for my own solo consulting business, and it makes it much easier to track projects, log time, and generate monthly invoices. Compared to spreadsheets, it saves me a lot of time and keeps things far more consistent. Across client implementations, it also helps teams move away from overcomplicated PSA tools while still getting the visibility they need into their services operations.

**What do you like best about Klient PSA?**

Klient PSA has become a reliable “source of truth” for our organization because it keeps both our project management and invoicing data in one place. In my experience, the old mantra “follow the money” really applies here: tying operational data directly to financials naturally enforces better data hygiene. Since the system is what drives our billing, we’re motivated to keep everything accurate and up to date, which helps the data stay clean. As a result, we have real confidence in the numbers we’re looking at.

**What do you dislike about Klient PSA?**

The native integrations are currently limited, especially when it comes to accounting workflows. For instance, although Klient can sync expenses to QuickBooks Online (QBO), there’s no reverse sync from QBO back into Klient. As a result, it’s hard to automatically capture expenses that originate from corporate credit cards and end up in QBO. We really need a bi-directional sync to properly streamline our financial workflows, because the current one-way integration offers only limited value.

**What problems is Klient PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Klient solves for us is the natural decline in data quality that tends to happen in most project management tools over time. In many systems, if project data isn’t updated, it’s mostly just an annoyance; with Klient, because that same data directly drives our invoicing, keeping it accurate becomes a financial necessity. The result is a self-correcting ecosystem. We don’t have to chase teams to update project status, because the system acts as a forcing function: if the data isn’t right, the billing isn’t right. That alignment keeps our operational metrics consistent with our financial reality and gives us a “single source of truth,” without the administrative overhead of constant auditing.

Klient PSA provides an excellent balance between flexibility and structure, which is critical for a consulting firm like ours. It gives us clear visibility into project performance, resource utilization, and financials without overcomplicating day-to-day workflows. **What do you like best about Klient PSA?**

I use Klient PSA for effective management and tracking of ERP projects. I particularly like that the information is centralized and standardized in a clear and efficient manner, thanks to customizable options like filters in the planner and workspace. Klient PSA offers excellent visibility on resource allocation, which is very practical for our team meetings. The visuals of the Workspace and Gantt are really good, clearly showing upcoming phases and what remains to be done. The Klient Community is also very useful for discovering new features.

**What do you dislike about Klient PSA?**

There are the burnup/burndown charts, which, in the latest discussions with our representative at Klient, seemed to be about to make their appearance in the tool. This is an element that will greatly improve visibility, either of the hours used over time or of the tasks accomplished. Also, I see an improvement in the Workspace, where, when creating tasks that create the 'WBS' column list, we could have the option to click on the WBS and literally see the Work Breakdown Structure diagram. Moreover, unfortunately, when I was starting with Klient, there was no training or learning 'kit' as Klient now offers; which is something I would have really liked!

**What problems is Klient PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Klient PSA to track the budget, schedule, and progress of projects, centralize and standardize documentation, gain clear visibility with the Workspace (Gantt), and manage resource allocation concisely and effectively.

**What do you like best about Klient PSA?**

Since signing our very first Sales Order way back in 2020, we’re now close to our 6-year anniversary with Klient PSA. From that day, and still to this, I work in Klient PSA all day, every day. It is simply a great system to be in. Everything is well organized, intuitive, and efficient. The UI has improved significantly over the years, especially the resource planner. The platform keeps getting better with each release, and the overall experience is smooth and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Klient PSA?**

If I could improve one area, it would be revenue and cost forecasting. With the level of complexity I manage, having more advanced forecasting would save a meaningful amount of manual time and effort every week

**Recommendations to others considering Klient PSA:**

Because the product is natively built and hosted upon the Salesforce platform, the possibilities for customisation, integration and growth are pretty far reaching. As a small business, Klient PSA aligned perfectly with our business needs (no qualifying minimum licence count / monthly spend) and stood out as the perfect growth partner in accordance with our business requirements. The PSA maturity journey will always be ongoing but what really stands out the Klient customer service / care and support which wraps around it. The Klient team have established a very comprehensive customer community to centralise feedback for product enhancements. There’s a solid product roadmap (in line with most of the areas that we will be pursuing next) which provides further assurance in our investment choice.

**What problems is Klient PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klient PSA has streamlined the way I work since we implemented in 2020. The product has become faster, cleaner, and far more efficient over time. It allows me to manage many active engagements and tasks, across many resources, and there’s simply no way I could stay on top of that workload without Klient PSA. It provides the structure, visibility, and control I need to operate effectively every day, while significantly reducing revenue leakage risk through robust timesheet approvals, accurate time tracking, and comprehensive reporting

**What do you like best about Klient PSA?**

I find Klient PSA a powerful tool that works intuitively. The resource planner is particularly strong for me, as it provides insight into capacity at a glance and is easy for project managers to maintain. This gives them direct insight into their available capacity. The initial setup was also great, especially because it was truly a co-working process.

It is so large and powerful that you must choose carefully which functionalities to focus on.

Client PSA provides us with control over project management, planning, resource management, and invoicing. The intuitive resource planner gives me an overview of the capacity at a glance, making it easy to maintain for project managers.

**What do you like best about Klient PSA?**

Klient is a helpful tool for anyone in need of PSA or project planning solutions. I appreciate that it is cloud-based, as this offers flexibility, though it can sometimes be challenging if your internet connection is slow. Despite this, it generally works well.

**What do you dislike about Klient PSA?**

The Gantt chart feature functions, but because it is browser-based, it feels somewhat clunky to use. It would be beneficial to have a dedicated desktop client for Gantt charts, which could then allow for importing charts as needed. That said I don't think I got to use the very latest version

**What problems is Klient PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problems of Project tracking, status and progress. Time recording, invoicing and also at some point will help with utilisation and planning. It has helped with reporting on this information and thus ability for our business to report quicker.

**What do you like best about Klient PSA?**

It's impressive how Klient is easy to setup and implement. It's also very simple to use and the depth of functionality is remarkable, even compared to other market leading PSA tools. Lastly, the responsiveness of the support team, as well as the quality of their replies, is the best I've seen of pretty much any software company.

**What do you dislike about Klient PSA?**

The only thing I can say is about the performance/latency of managing updates to complex project plans in the Workspace/Gantt view. To be fair though, this isn't really about Klient, as much as the inherent challenges involved with using online tools to make such updates, as opposed to a local copy of MS Project.

**What problems is Klient PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase utilization, maximize revenue, deliver projects on time and on budget.

There is quite a lot of configuration needed, as with any other software, to adapt Klient PSA to our own business processes.
