## Kit Reviews
 ### 1. Great Tags, Segmentation, and Unlimited Email Sending for Cost-Effective Marketing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I really like the tags and segmentation feature On top of that the unlimited email sending offer is amazing so anyone is starting just starting off in their business should definitely use it for marketing because it's cost effective add small scale for small scale businesses

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The sequence The sequence is not good I will features are not enough They should be multi entry point feature there should be multi web hooks and execution feature etc But there isn't any

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us it was more of a cost effective choice and we're just starting off at a small scale and it is good for small scale businesses as it gives you unlimited emails 10,000 subscribers and which is more than enough to start

 ### 2. Simple and effective for Creator-focused email Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag M. | Lead - Tech and AI Automation, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

What I best like about Kit is how simple and creator focused it is, compared to other enterprise heavy marketing tools. Setting up email automations, filtering or segmenting audience, workflows is all relatively straightforward in use. I also found the analytics and engagement insights useful for tracking and understanding user behaviour, helping me in improving the communication in workflows.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

So one limitation i noticed is some useful features, especially, the advanced A/B testing capabilities, are restricted only for the Pro plan of it, which is way costly that's 66$ per month. The creator plan that is 33$ per month should have this included, otherwise this plan feels slightly limited for the advanced customisation and testing flexibility.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kit for automating my marketing and audience targeting more efficiently. It reduces manual efforts, reaches larager audience with very minimal inputs needed, and has a great advantage of the analytics and insights provided on the performance. This can help us to improve our communication and find out what could work better.

 ### 3. Perfect for Small Luxury Brands and Consultants

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saira R. | Marketing & Brand Partnerships Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I find Kit really helpful for smaller businesses, creatives, and consultants. As a platform for email marketing and communications, it is really interesting and very easy to use. The automation is straightforward, making it easy for me to build automated funnels. I appreciate the built-in landing pages and forms, which are really nice to use and very self-explanatory even for those not trained on the system. Additionally, it's easy to tag people and update contacts, and the designs provided are easily usable. It’s also simple to train others on Kit, which is crucial since I work with small founding teams. The initial setup was very straightforward with easy payment options.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

It just doesn't compete with the bigger platforms. For example, if you're looking at platforms like Klaviyo, HubSpot, It's a much smaller platform, and that's fine. That's not even a criticism.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kit for email marketing and communications, especially for smaller businesses, creatives, and consultants. It's easy to use, lets me update contacts, build automated funnels, and create forms effortlessly, making it perfect for independent luxury brands.

 ### 4. They say they're for creators and they mean it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki E. | Email consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

It's fast, intuitive, lots of great features. Their creator focus means the things they launch are really in line with what I need like their referral system for growth, their "borrow our mailing address" so I don't have to put a personal address as a remote worker, etc. They even have free podcast studios for users!
I'm an affiliate because I think it's a really great platform for creators.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The default formatting is hard to read. Need a code snippet to fix it and it's still not perfect. Getting it perfect has been a task on my to do list.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Owning my own audience, selling products and services

 ### 5. Centralized B2B Social Media Management with GDPR Compliance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lunter M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I like Kit's ability to perfectly balance intuitive usability with strong support for GDPR and German B2B compliance needs, all while keeping our entire social media workflow centralized. The platform impressively handles content planning, team collaboration, scheduling, and performance tracking all in one place, helping us avoid messy spreadsheets and disjointed tools. It's straightforward enough for the whole comms team to use without extensive training, yet reliable enough to maintain brand consistency and compliance across all our professional B2B social channels. The initial setup was straightforward and surprisingly quick for our team.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

First, the range of native integrations is narrower compared to larger social media tools, especially with common German martech and CRM systems. Connecting it to our existing stack often requires manual exports or workarounds instead of smooth, automated syncing. Second, the analytics and reporting features are sufficient for basic overviews but lack depth for B2B use cases. We can’t easily create customized, exportable reports tailored to stakeholder needs in the DACH market, and long-term performance trend tracking feels basic.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kit centralizes our social media workflow, reducing version confusion and admin time. It ensures GDPR compliance and brand consistency with templates, and simplifies content performance tracking, refining our strategy based on real data. It's intuitive and supports our B2B compliance needs.

 ### 6. Best Newsletter Platform for Content Creators with Digital Products

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nahed K. | Head of People and Culture, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

It's mainly designed for content creators who want to monetize their offering. There are so many e-commerce features and integrations which make it support almost any content-driven business.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The UI is confusing and it's not easy to find what you want quickly. On many occasions, I find myself accessing their help articles or the new AI help chatbot to understand where to find something or how to perform a specific action.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run an HR consulting business and also have a newsletter to nurture leads. Kit helps me to manage and distribute my newsletter while automating a lot of the segmentation, sequences, and engagement.

 ### 7. Super Easy to Use with Highly Customizable Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Super easy interface to use. It is very simple to add new subscribers and make categories which is so helpful. The templates are very customizable and there are so many useful features on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The templates are kind of a learning curve at first. Since they are so customizable, it takes a minute to get a hang of layouts and knowing where items are or how to add/remove sections.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can send emails from all of our agents emails and use one platform/account to get everything done at once. We use this platform at least once a day so it is important to our business and daily practices. I also add all of our clients and other agent emails in our subscribers which helps keep things streamlined in one spot.

 ### 8. Intuitive and Effective, but Needs Better HTML Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant D. | Head of Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I appreciate Kit for its ability to let me segment which subscribers are interested in which digital products and then send communication directly. I chose Kit because the functionality is simple, and I like the UI UX and find it very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Importing the HTML into my Wix website was not as easy for the lead capture forms. The way the user interface looks when I'm trying to import the HTML was a bit challenging. It involved a lot of trial and error and tinkering around to make sure the lead capture form was formatted correctly and input into the website properly.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kit for managing subscription lists, segmenting subscribers interested in digital products, and communicating effectively with them. It helps send promotions and content to drive new sales.

 ### 9. Effortless Marketing for Small Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishna K. | Digital Marketing Media Manager, Online Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I really appreciate how effortless Kit makes small-business marketing. It's perfect for people who aren't experts in social media or advertising, and that shows in every part of the tool. I love how it automates the entire workflow end-to-end by suggesting posts, creating simple creative, scheduling them, and even running retargeting ads without me having to start from scratch. The biggest benefit for our lean team is that it's like having a reliable part-time marketing assistant without needing training or oversight. Its automation and creative features remove almost all manual work while maintaining consistency. Kit pulls product info directly, suggests when and what to post, schedules content at the best times, and even runs retargeting ads for abandoned carts, without us needing to plan campaigns or write copy from scratch. The creative tools are simple but effective, generating clean, on-brand social posts and basic ad creative using our product images, which saves us the need for a designer or copywriter. The ability to tweak posts easily is a great time-saver. Additionally, the initial setup of Kit was extremely easy and straightforward, making it one of the simplest tools we've onboarded as a small team.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The biggest one is that the automation is pretty basic and not very flexible. It does a good job with simple social posts and retargeting ads, but you can’t customize sequences, set up more specific rules, or tailor the messaging to different customer groups. It’s very 'one-size-fits-all,' so we can’t fine-tune it to match our brand voice or customer journey as closely as we want. Right now, Kit only runs basic, generic automations—like post a product or run a retargeting ad. What would be game-changing is simple, conditional logic that doesn’t require tech skills. For example: If a customer bought X, send a follow-up for Y; Post different content for new vs. returning visitors; Pause ads automatically when inventory is low; Schedule campaigns around promotions or holidays without manual approval. Right now, it’s all or nothing. Adding basic 'if this, then that' rules would let us personalize our marketing without extra work.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kit automates social media and marketing tasks for us, saving time and effort by managing posts, ads, and outreach. It helps us maintain consistency and launch basic ads without being overwhelmed by marketing tasks. Its creative features allow us to keep our marketing active with minimal manual input.

 ### 10. Kit’s Creator Network Drives Subscriber Growth Through Recommendations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan M. | Product Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Kit's creator network helps us get more subscribers via recommendations. Most other platforms don't offer this.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

At times it feels like it takes more clicks than I'd want to get to the place I need. There is a cmd+K search, but I keep forgetting about it because it isn't always shown as an option in the UI

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kit helps us run automated email sequences and send newsletters to our audience, as well as growing our audience via their creator network

 ### 11. Great Features, But Limited Design Customization, Slower Support, and Rising Costs

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I really liked the tagging feature, which made it easy to segment subscribers and set up specific automations based on each subscriber’s preferences. I also appreciated that my emails didn’t end up in the “promotions” tab. I also liked the ability to add a tip jar. Another feature I liked was the creator network that allowed my subscribers to subscribe to related creator's newsletters. It was passive lead generation that help me increase my subscriber count.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I was a Kit customer for over a decade. While the platform was always geared toward creators, over time it became clear that many of the newer features were aimed more at influencers. That shift wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it meant the platform no longer met my needs. Another thing to note was the Wordpress Plugin did not always work - my forms did not always appear on the page (Although I did see them make efforts to improve it). I also didn’t like the limited customization options, especially when it came to design. On top of that, support had become slower to respond. Most importantly, Kit no longer made financial sense for me: the costs doubled for the same subscriber count and increased substantially as my subscriber count grew. I decided to go with another provider.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I used it, it was an easy way to collect emails from viewers. It also let me automate a series of emails to nurture engagement, which saved me a lot of time because I could truly set it up and forget it. For instance, I was able to build a two-year automation that sent evergreen industry tips, and that was a game changer. I could spend a couple of days creating a two-year email sequence, set it live, and be done. This allowed me to focus on delivering the best service to my clients, and potential clients.

 ### 12. Seamless Switch from Mailchimp with a User-Friendly Free Version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathleen W. | Owner/Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I love how user friendly it is. I switched everything over from mailchimp and it was seamless. Love all the features included with the free version as well.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Haven’t ran into any issues yet so fingers crossed!

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping me grow my business and serve my community, with an easy, behind-the-scenes setup. It’s one less thing I have to think about, which makes day-to-day work feel a lot more manageable.

 ### 13. Reliable Email Marketing Tool That Grows with You

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishwajeet M. | Marketing Expert, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I’ve been using ConvertKit for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most creator-friendly email marketing tools out there. What I love most is how easy it is to get started — everything from setting up forms to creating automations feels intuitive. The interface is clean and straightforward, so even if you’re not super technical, you’ll find your way around quickly.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

If I had to point out one thing that could be improved, it would be the pricing for smaller creators. The free plan is great to start with, but once you begin scaling, it can get a bit pricey compared to other tools. Also, I’d love to see more flexibility in lead magnet options in the starter plan.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, ConvertKit is reliable, easy to use, and built with creators in mind. It’s not overloaded with unnecessary features — just the right balance of simplicity and power. If your focus is building a genuine connection with your audience, ConvertKit is definitely worth it.

 ### 14. Kit Makes Internal Monthly Newsletters Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chetan D. | Associate, Strategy & Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I use Kit to deliver a newsletter within my organization. It supports our monthly newsletter service and helps me share updates consistently.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

There should be some tutorials tailored to each job role, so it’s easier to find guidance that matches what I need to do.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my organization, we send our monthly newsletter through this tool. It works well for that, but I wish there were an option for a brand kit.

 ### 15. Easy-to-Use Email Marketing with Great Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly D. | Marketing and Sales Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I prefer Kit to other CRMs because it's very easy to use, user-friendly, and has good deliverability.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The pricing of Kit is a bit higher because it does offer more features.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kit for email marketing, landing pages, and automations.

 ### 16. Great suite of services, although price just went up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

The combination of email marketing and sales of products and services is powerful, and when you add the Creator Network for recommendations you have a winning combination. Easy to use and to implement upon start up, with plenty of apps to connect with your other software integrations.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The minimum paid tier just went up in price quite significantly, causing some distress among the user base. However, the services are still valuable, and I use them at least weekly to build my user base.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

These days you have to own your contact list. Social media algorithms will undermine your marketing efforts in a heartbeat, but your email list is your primary defense against the tyranny of the scrolling/swiping universe. ConvertKit is one of the best email marketing services with high deliverability and a suite of apps that connect your email with sales and other business functions

 ### 17. Effortless Email Marketing with Outstanding Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard A.

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I love ConvertKit’s user-friendly interface, making it simple and efficient for me to use from the get-go. The setup was extremely easy, and the seamless integration with systems like Gmail is a big plus for me. I appreciate the email marketing automation, visual builders, and subscriber management tools, which enhance my workflow significantly. The platform’s pricing is competitive compared to others, offering great value for the capabilities it provides, which is vital for my budget. I particularly benefit from ConvertKit's powerful tools for email and digital product marketing, as well as its support for e-commerce through customizable forms and landing pages.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I think the color gradient of the interface could use some improvement.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ConvertKit simplifies my messaging, managing customer interactions efficiently by automating marketing tasks and growing my audience. Its visual builders, prebuilt sequences, and subscriber management enhance my workflow, while customizable forms and ecommerce tools boost product sales and monetization.

 ### 18. Weekly Email Overview Is Great, but Design Customization Feels Limited

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Kit?**

The overview that comes every week on email

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I cant design it the way that I would like with photos and such!

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That I can see data on every newsletter and compare easily

 ### 19. Experience with ConvertKit

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delon R. | Graphic Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

What is most helpful about ConvertKit is its straightforward interface in discovering the number of features, excellent customer service, and ease of integration with the website host. It i The sftware allows seamless implementation of email list to the website. It's a strong email provider option as it allows greater trust and verification. Therefore, each newsletter is more likely to be organised as a subscription and less likely to be seen as spam. Such an excellent service.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I wish the introductory version offered a greater variety of lead magnet options, as it currently feels limited to only creating a newsletter.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that Convertkit solves are streamlining emails into one platform, garnering trust from the audience, and increasing conversions while minimising unread emails on the newsletter.

 ### 20. Powerful Email Marketing Without the Complexity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

ConvertKit strikes a great balance between being full-featured and easy to use. Setting up campaigns, automations, and managing subscribers is intuitive, even for someone without a technical background. The UI is clean, and the learning curve is minimal, which makes it a go-to tool for creators and marketers alike.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The more advanced features—like deeper automation and better reporting—are locked behind the highest-tier plans. It would be nice to see more flexibility or tiered access for growing users who aren’t quite ready for enterprise level pricing.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ConvertKit helps make email marketing, audience segmentation, and automation quick and easy, while still offering powerful solutions when you need them. It saves time on repetitive tasks and makes it easier to connect with your audience in a meaningful way.

 ### 21. It's alright but I didn't prefer it

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ma Gladys May M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I used it BEFORE they switched to Kit. It was my first switch from MailChimp and I liked the interface, how you can schedule emails and and understand the metrics easily. I am interested in going back to it since you can now sell through the platform at 0 cost (asides from the transaction fee).

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I didn't like how clunky it was in terms of the design. I like writing emails in the most basic format because I personally find it easier to read as opposed to all these "themed" emails. It kept distracting me from creating content that was high quality because it had me focused on the design (but I think that might be a me issue, not a converkit issue).

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to connect with my target audience OFF social platforms because all the creators out there were telling me how one day, Instagram could just shut down and that's my primary source of leads. I also wanted to be able to talk more in-depth about certain topics to people who are actually interested so having ConvertKit at the time helped me build an intimate community.

 ### 22. Simple and Effective, but Lacks Customization Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin H. | Caseworker - Project Assistant, Case Management (Prescreening) OIM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I like how easy it is to connect with my audience. ConvertKit keeps things simple, helps me stay organized, and lets me send the right message at the right time.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Sometimes it feels too limited when I want to customize things more deeply. The design options and integrations could be more flexible. It gets the job done, but I’ve hit a few walls.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me stay organized and reach my target people without wasting time. It solves the hassle of managing emails and makes sure my messages land when and where they should.

 ### 23. Best email marketing program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed T. | Video Coach & Online Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

It's the most up to date email marketing program out there! Not only that, they offer something no other program offers, a way for creators to discover others. They built in a creators network.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I think they could streamline some things like rules and automation as it seems like they pretty much do the same thing so it can get confusing when trying to figure out which one to use or what one you actually used.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helping me reach my audience directly

 ### 24. Great platform to connect with your audience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michał K. | Founder and Digital Craftsman, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

After all, a valid platform heading in the right direction. They offer a variety of templates. There is a good level of automation, but you can tweak everything manually as well. Good for creators of all sorts of speakers, lecturers etc.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

It's hard or impossible to automize sending previous newsletters to newly added people to the sequence.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the PHP api to set up newsletter group segmenting for our WordPress clients. We like the API. I think if more tools adapted a DX approach to creating their tools, the developer experience is very good. We know what service to suggest to our clients.

 ### 25. Convertkit (aka Kit) is a Black Hole of Inefficiency

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosalyn T. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Some of their features are great but they don't make up for their inept support staff.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

ConvertKit's support team is an absolute disaster. Their representatives seem incapable of critical thinking and are stuck in a loop of scripted responses, regardless of the actual problem.

Having an advanced technical skills, we carefully documented the challenges we were experiencing with their product. A reasonable company would have attempted to recreate the steps and troubleshoot. But not Convertkit. So, we did it for them--provided detailed screenprints and explanations to walk them through it--even submitted a Loom video. Surprisingly, even when presented with clear visual evidence, they refused to acknowledge it at all and stuck with their false and irrelevant responses. By the way, they could not back up anything they said with evidence). Made us want to ask, "so your eyes are lying to you?" after we provided concrete evidence that contradicted their explanations.

We had to deal with 8 or 9 different support staff members, none of whom bothered to read our trouble tickets (we were asked the same simple questions repeatedly). Okay, we wrote those beautiful, step-by-step emails to you because we had nothing else to do. Are they all robots who read from a script and are afraid to deviate from said script, even if it means failing to acknowledge the actual problem and help the customer?

If you value your time and sanity, stay far away from ConvertKit. We found a new email marketing company today after the disaster we experienced with ConvertKit over the last 6 days -- we wasted at least 14 people hours over this period.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They once helped us automate marketing tasks, and increase sales through effective email marketing.

 ### 26. Great services.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronnie N. | Ecommerce Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Kit?**

The different selections of marketing is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Nothing, I liked everything about convert Kit.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting more customers.

 ### 27. The best email marketing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Easy to use and the number of features are sufficient to use this platfrom very frequent.
The implementation is very easy. If you are facing any issue to integrate the there is very good customer support which can help.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

As of now it seems like there is very less scope of diskliking this platform.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps in creation of the content, building email lists, and collaborating with other creators.

 ### 28. Why I left Convertkit after just 45 days (and ate $750)

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zak F. | E, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Maybe the simplicity of the platform could be seen as an asset?

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

After working with CK for a few weeks, I began to notice bugs and missing features I decided in the end I just couldn't live without, so now I've *re-migrated* back to my old platform (MailerLite, if you're curious... LOVE THEM)

Here's why I left Convertkit:

1. **there's no way to organize uploaded images:** this wasn't a noticeable problem in the beginning, but the emails I sent and the more images I uploaded, it began to take longer and longer to find what I needed
2. **there's no way to embed audio:** as a podcaster, this was vital
3. **the whole automation vs. email sequence thing** was cumbersome to work with

But here was the NUMBER ONE THING, the deal-breaker:

1. **there's no way to see metrics for groups or segments of subscribers:** Many of us use Facebook ads or Google ads (or just have various streams of how people find us) and it's essential that we be able to track their engagement data. I was paying $$$ GOOD MONEY $$$ to get leads on Facebook and with ConvertKit I suddenly had *NO IDEA* how this segment of subscribers was performing. I couldn't tell if they were opening my emails, let alone clicking.

So I decided to change platforms for the second time in two months. It was a hell of a lot of work. I reached out to CK with my concerns and they stood really strong on their strict "30 days only" refund policy. It didn't matter that I was just 15 days past that, it didn't matter that we'd just had two major national holidays (Christmas and Thanksgiving) during that time, none of it mattered, so I had to eat the hundreds of dollars I'd spent on the annual plan.

But for me and my business, I need an email platform that is easy to keep organized and give me metrics that tell me is my ads are working.

Convertkit failed.

 ### 29. My list is growing with the Creator Network!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan G. | Founder, Systems Saved Me, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I love that they are really focused on creating opportunities for us to refer each other. I've been building my list by 80-100 by other ConvertKit folks recommending me. I was up and running so quickly!

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

There are some more advanced strategies I would love to have that ActiveCampaign did but it's not make or break for me. Things like site tracking and goal tracking.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They allow me to distribute to my email list about opportunities to pay me :) Pretty significant.

 ### 30. I had a question about my account at 3am, emailed support…

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I had a question about my account at 3am, emailed support… I literally heard back from Pat in under 3 minutes. I've been waiting for 5 days to hear back from Google for a support ticket on Google my business. ConvertKit's customer service is on point!

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The trial is only 14 days but everything else been great.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My email marketing. I'm new to actually using my email list and after doing research on the best email marketing system I went with convert kit.

 ### 31. ConvertKit automations are next level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ⚡ Falak S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Kit?**

User-friendly layout despite tons of features. Automations forced me to switch from MailerLite to ConvertKit. You can tag leads and send them to different funnels etc. Then send personalized emails using automations. Custom fields make these automations even more powerful. Cherry on the top is excellent customer support. Moving from MailerLite was very easy. Just import the list and you are good to go with ConvertKit.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

It becomes pricey as your list grows. It has steep learning curve especially when you are just starting out on email automations. Their email signup forms are very basic where you can change font, background color etc only. This can be improved definitely.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting users in automation funnels. And I am using it as a transactional email platform too. I t tags users based on onboarding completion steps. Then we see where users are leaving the most so we improve that plus users are sent email to complete onboarding from that specific step.

 ### 32. Automations are easy to build and I love their direct support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Selena S. | Marketing Specialist, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Goals within automations simplifies the funnel. I can apply tags and do a bunch of other things in order to nail my targeting and messaging.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The editor has improved since a year or so ago, but it still has room for improvement.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is being used to send email newsletters and set up automations based on actions a subscriber takes. It had around 5% more open rates than other email providers.

 ### 33. Perfect for creators specially

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sahil J. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I like how it lets me split my email list into different parts. This way, I can send specific emails to certain people, which has helped me connect better with my audience.

The automatic email feature is also pretty cool. I can set up a bunch of emails that get sent out on their own when certain things happen.

Overall loved the simple interface

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

It wiuld be great if it gives bit more details like why some emails do better than others.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can split my list into different groups based on what they're interested in. This means I can send out emails that are more targeted, which has helped me connect better with my audience and get more responses.

The landing pages and forms are easy to set up and have helped me attract more subscribers. This has been great for getting the word out about my work and reaching more people.

 ### 34. Convertkit review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasser S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

It was super simple to install the wordpress plugin and they instantly provided the API key after I created the account. I like the lots of choice for popup forms and ability to brand emails.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Nothing really. It is a great email templated platform.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It collects visitor emails from the website through popup forms. Its been great grom form design to campaign management. It allows to tag the subscribers so easily.

 ### 35. Easy to use and great customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Convert kit has great pricing and customer service. They have good deliverability and are keeping up with the technology over the years

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Learning curve at first if you are new to the platform

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opt ins, emails and automations

 ### 36. Can be a challenge

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caryn L. | English Communication Coach for Legal Professionals, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Kit?**

I switched to Convert kit from another provider because it appeared easier to use. It has a nice clean well laid-out interface and lots of tutorials.
They have good customer support.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

The free plan is available for up to 1000 subscribers, however, there's not a lot you can do with it so if you want to send out automated emails etc you need to upgrade. The next package up is the creator package @$15 per month.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Convert kit allowed me to create landing pages and build an email list.

 ### 37. Really easy to use, lovely interface and my favorite e-mail marketing software

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Simple to use and set up forms and templates. Data transfer is also very easy since it's compatible with several sources.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Perhaps a little more flexibility with some of the templates, maybe, but honestly, no.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps drive traffic and raise awareness in an easy flow process. I create forms in a matter of minutes and they are ready to be sent out.

**What do you like best about Kit?**

It was easy for me to start an email newsletter with a landing page.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

They could have given more newsletter subscribers in the free option, but thats not a big deal. Still the best tool.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create a newsletter with a landing page that can help you send automated and manual emails in bulk to your newsletter subscribers.

Excellent and easy to handle with accuracy, speed and quality. Nothing to dislike.

 ### 42. Unfair Practices

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Kit?**

The platform is decent and can send large volumes of emails

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Hard manage contacts and segmented lists. They cut us off for without explanation after the owner approved the use on the platform. But then would not stand by their word later one. It was a scam. After requesting to download our data and email content, they are refusing. Bas business, don't work with them

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

none

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit D. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Kit?**

The best thing about ConvertKit is that it is novice friendly and has easy navigation. It has tons of pre-built email templates, landing pages, and form templates that you can use after minor modifications.

It also has an intuitive list management feature. You can add them individually or in bulk, and they can also subscribe to your list using your landing page and form. Later, you can organize them by tag, category, and source.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

It has all the features that I need for my email marketing. There is nothing to dislike.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use its email newsletter feature to send offers and service updates to my customers.

 ### 46. I never thought that email marketing would this easy.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 𝕋𝕖𝕛𝕒𝕤𝕧𝕚 . | Operations Manager - E-commerce , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Kit?**

This is such a User-Friendly Email Marketing tool. The main application of this tool is that it helps users to create and manage email campaigns, build landing pages, automate email sequences, and build Email lists. The platform is easy to use, allowing users to create beautiful and engaging emails without coding knowledge. Users can create email sequences using a drag-and-drop editor and also use a wide range of templates and customization options.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

There are limited options for building landing pages, this should be improved. The pricing structure is a bit tricky and confusing which makes it expensive. The pricing can be set straightforward

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Convertikit allows is email automation. You can send emails individually to each person separately. With Convertkit, you can send emails to thousands of subscribers at once and also send follow-up emails by setting the date and time at one time

 ### 47. Connect Easily with ConvertKit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Kit?**

The tutorials and chat/email help are Great! Every time I ask a question, the representative responds quickly, with detailed information, AND includes links to additional resources, usually their very clear, step-by-step tutorials that include pictures and sometimes automations that you can copy and paste into your own account.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I haven't found anything I dislike yet - oh, I changed my web hosting and had to re-authenticate my domain to be able to send my broadcasts. This was a small speedbump but tech support and tutorials gave me all the information to complete that process quickly.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like using ConvertKit so it's helping me enjoy writing emails and communications to my list. I LOVE the automations - the graphic interface allows me to clearly map out a series of steps. The tagging system is great for me. I have a few special interest groups and about once a quarter, I email my list and ask the members to pick their preferred interests by clicking a link, and then they're automatically tagged! (Well, they're tagged because I set up the integration following the tutorial!!)

Also, A/B testing of headlines is super easy to use. I was always confounded by that but the way ConvertKit works it makes it really easy to see which headline gets the best open rates and response rates.

 ### 48. A great platform for solopreneurs, creators, and more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Kit?**

ConvertKit has great automation and tagging features that make it easy to make the most of email marketing in your business.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

I don't love the email design interface in ConvertKit. However, they have introduced more templates to make this a bit easier. The best option with ConvertKit is to focus on text-based emails.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ConvertKit makes it easy to automate email marketing, whether that's welcome sequences, automated sequences based on user activity, etc. It also makes it easy to organize your list so you can send more targeted campaigns based on where subscribers come from and how they interact with your emails.

 ### 49. Ok solution for solopreneurs or very small businesses needing marketing automation but not others

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Kit?**

It's low cost
Affordable
Billing options are good

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

Not very user friendly or intuitive
Doesn't integrate with ANYTHING else (technology wise, we have to use zapier zaps to connect it to our CRM)

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email automation sequences and forms
We also use their visual automations to connect a form to an email sequence
We can download subscribers to forms and see basic reports on how people are engaging with our email campaigns

 ### 50. ConvertKit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph G. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Kit?**

Convertkit allows you to create landing pages that solve specific use cases for getting customers to your product. Without the convert kit I wouldn't be able to optimize my business.

**What do you dislike about Kit?**

What is least helpful with Convertkit is that I don't like that there aren't any login integrations with google or single sign-on capabilities. It's hard to remember passwords.

**What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use convertkit for email marketing purposes. This help solves all the use cases I must address when trying to traffic customers to my landing page. My business has increased by over 30% by using convertkit.
