"Reliable Email Automation for Growing Businesses"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

One of the things we like most about Kit is how it balances simplicity with powerful email marketing automation. As a small SaaS business at AppSumore, we use it to manage newsletters, product announcements, and automated email sequences without needing a complicated setup.

The visual automation builder is intuitive and makes it easy to create subscriber journeys based on user actions, tags, and custom segments. We also appreciate the clean interface, which keeps campaign management organized even as our email list grows. Compared to some other email marketing platforms we've tested, Kit has a much shorter learning curve.

Another standout feature is its integrations. Connecting Kit with landing pages, forms, and other marketing tools is straightforward, allowing us to automate lead capture and follow-up with minimal manual work. Deliverability has also been reliable, and campaign performance reports provide enough insights to optimize open rates and engagement.

Kit also includes AI-powered writing assistance for generating email drafts and subject line ideas. While we still edit the final copy to match our brand voice, the AI features help reduce the time spent creating campaign content.

From a pricing perspective, Kit delivers solid value for businesses focused on email marketing and creator audiences. The automation features and reliable deliverability help reduce manual work, making it easier to justify the subscription cost as our email campaigns scale. We've seen a positive return on investment through improved campaign efficiency and consistent audience engagement.

The onboarding experience was straightforward, with clear documentation, templates, and in-app guidance that made it easy to get started. On the few occasions we needed assistance, the support resources were helpful and allowed us to resolve questions without significant delays. Overall, the platform is approachable for new users while still offering enough depth for more advanced marketing workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

Our biggest area for improvement would be reporting and analytics. While Kit provides the core email metrics, we'd like more advanced attribution, conversion tracking, and customizable reports to better understand how campaigns influence the customer journey across multiple channels.

As our subscriber base grows, pricing can increase fairly quickly. It would be helpful if more automation, segmentation, and reporting features were included in the lower-tier plans, giving small businesses more room to scale before upgrading.

We'd also appreciate additional native integrations with a wider range of SaaS and marketing platforms. Although third-party connectors are available, direct integrations are generally easier to maintain and reduce setup time.

Finally, the AI writing assistant is a useful starting point, but it could offer more control over tone, brand voice, and content style. More personalization options and smarter suggestions based on previous campaigns would make the feature even more valuable for teams that produce email content regularly.
