What do you like best about Kimiko?

it has 4 tools in 1 - notepad, meeting assistant, task manager and dictation. and the ai is running locally - no clouds, no data privacy issues. The UI is simple and intuitive. Once you have it setup, you dont it runs automatically to capture you meetings, you can take notes, manage your tasks and do dictation on another app. It is well integrated with your AI providers and it has an MCP so you can connect your agent to it. I run this on an old MacBook Pro M1 and it's super smooth! It costs me 12Euros per month and totally worth it, I have ditched all other note takers and using Kimiko only. The onboarding is simple, just a few click, and it downloads the ai models needed for transcriptions and local AI chat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kimiko?

I would love to have some additional features for example during a meeting someone asks me a question, I could ask AI to help me with that question using past notes as context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kimiko solving and how is that benefiting you?

before all my notes are in different apps, emails and other places. on top of that, all meeting transcriptions were done with Teams and it is also scattered. Having Kimiko unifies all of that and centralize the information in one place. what is interesting with this tool is that - everything is done locally. This is great because most of my notes and meetings and other data are strictly sensitive and confidential. I have not used other services because the data is passed through cloud services for processing and I do not know where it goes after. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
