The substantial advantage for me is that Kimchi can work across the whole code alternatively of only suggesting some few lines for our project. I peculiarly like the combination of agentic coding, last access, model selection and maintenance of a single session to maintain the development sessions. It makes the development process fastrack and debugging more easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I dislike about Kimchi is in some cases where we expect some major change in the code, sometimes it becomes a bit difficult to figure out the issue in case of a new bug is encountered; it takes long time to refactor and fix the code. Some custom AI models compatibility has issues in Kimchi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
