Its interface is easy to use and looks impressive. The theme they use gives a positive sign. I use it every day, and it helps me save my passwords in encrypted form. The vault also locks after a set time, so I have to authenticate again before I can use the stored creds. This extra layer of security makes a huge impact— even if someone gets access to my laptop, my vault stays locked, so there’s no need to worry.
One of the best things is that it syncs my details and can be used across multiple devices where my ID is logged in, which really makes my work easier. Google Password Manager is secure too, but due to some issues I switched to Kaspersky, and it’s been worth it.
It helps me manage a large number of credentials: I can make folders, add links, and store as many IDs and passwords as I want. Updating passwords is also very easy. I’ve installed their extension as well, and it saves time because it only pulls creds for the specific domain or link that’s open in the browser. The optimization is very good. The extension is available on all browsers; I use it on Chrome, Edge, and Opera, and it’s super easy to manage. Whenever I log in with a new ID, it automatically asks whether I want to save it or not. Overall, it’s secure and easy to use, and making folders and storing creds inside them helps a lot. There are a few things that need improvement. For example, when I log in to a new account, it opens a large dialog box from the computer, which irritates me and disrupts my login process. It should open a small dialog box at the bottom instead, but right now it opens a big one and it’s frustrating. Improvement is required.
Second, when data is stored under Kaspersky, sometimes on websites when we click the eye icon, it shows the password. This should be improved—passwords should not be visible in any circumstances. When the browser is under the control of the extension, it should not allow the password to be seen. I feel this is a major drawback. It should be totally encrypted, and only the browser and the extension should be able to connect.
Third, I don’t like the way multiple server emails are handled for the same domain. If I have a domain with around 7 server mails, I enter the link and then add the first ID/password, but the “+” option to add the next one is at the top. It should be at the bottom. For example, if I’ve already added 5 IDs and want to add the 6th, I have to scroll back to the top, click “+”, and then come back down again to fill it in. This needs improvement.
