**What do you like best about Kartra?**

What I like best about Kartra is that it combines multiple marketing and business tools into a single platform. Instead of using separate solutions for email marketing, landing pages, sales funnels, memberships, and automation, everything is available in one place. The interface is easy to navigate, and the automation features help save a significant amount of time when managing campaigns and customer interactions.

**What do you dislike about Kartra?**

One area that could be improved is the learning curve for new users. Since Kartra offers a wide range of features, it can take some time to fully understand and configure everything effectively. Certain pages and workflows may also feel slightly overwhelming at first, especially for users who are new to marketing automation platforms.

**What problems is Kartra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kartra solves the problem of managing multiple marketing tools across different platforms. It centralizes lead generation, email marketing, customer management, sales funnels, and automation into a single system. This reduces complexity, saves time, lowers operational costs, and provides better visibility into marketing performance. For me, it helps streamline workflows and makes it easier to manage customer journeys from lead acquisition to conversion.

**What do you like best about Kartra?**

I use Kartra as my primary business hub to manage everything, from lead generation and email marketing to hosting my online courses, replacing the need for separate email tools, page builders, and checkout systems. The automation sequences are my favorite part, allowing me to use if/then logic based on user interactions with videos or emails, creating a personalized experience for every lead without manual management. This saves me time by eliminating the need to manually segment lists or check course completions. Once the logic is set, it runs flawlessly, freeing me to focus on high-level strategy and content creation. The transition from Kajabi to Kartra was surprisingly smooth, with the migration of our email list and lead data being straightforward. We actually found Kartra's sequence builder more intuitive once we got started.

**What do you dislike about Kartra?**

I have noticed that the page editor and the live landing pages can sometimes be a bit slow to load compared to dedicated, lightweight page builders. Improving the backend speed and optimizing the code for faster mobile load times would be a great upgrade.

**What problems is Kartra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kartra is my business hub that handles lead generation, email marketing, and online courses. It solved my integration issues by consolidating tools, eliminating the need for third-party integrations like Zapier. Automation sequences save me time by handling tasks automatically, allowing me to focus on strategy.

**What do you like best about Kartra?**

Honestly, the biggest win for me is having everything under one roof. Before Kartra, I was stitching together a course platform, a separate checkout tool, an email provider, and a membership plugin—and they’d constantly fall out of sync. With Kartra, my courses, memberships, and checkout flows all talk to each other natively. When someone buys, they’re automatically tagged, added to the right sequence, and given access to the right content. No Zapier hacks, no broken webhooks at 2am.

The checkout pages have been a quiet standout, too. The built-in order bumps and upsell flows took me maybe an hour to set up, and they’ve added a noticeable bump to my average order value without needing any extra tools.

Email automations are genuinely powerful once you wrap your head around them. The behavioral tagging system (open this, click that, visited this page) lets you get pretty surgical with follow-up sequences.

It’s not perfect—the UI has a learning curve, and some pages feel like they haven’t been touched since 2025—but once you know where everything lives, the workflow becomes pretty smooth. For anyone running a real digital product business, it removes a lot of the “duct tape and prayer” that comes with piecing together five different tools.

**What do you dislike about Kartra?**

The UI is the biggest friction point. It works, but it feels dated in places and some screens haven't been modernized in a while. Navigating between pages, funnels, and products can get clunky when your account starts filling up. There's no quick global search, so finding a specific email or page buried in your account becomes more annoying than it should be.

The learning curve is real. I wouldn't call it beginner-friendly. It took me a few weeks before things clicked and the documentation doesn't always cover the less obvious stuff. Some workflows require more steps than feel necessary, like there are just a few too many clicks to get to where you're going.

Video hosting is functional but basic. If you're serious about delivering course content with any kind of analytics on viewing behavior, you'll probably want to host elsewhere and embed.

Pricing is on the higher side, especially if you're in an earlier stage. The entry plan has limits that push you toward upgrading sooner than feels fair. Things like the number of contacts or pages can sneak up on you.

And the mobile experience, both for builders and members, is not great. It's clearly built desktop-first, which is fine for setup, but your students or customers accessing content on their phones will notice.

**What problems is Kartra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing it solved for me was tool sprawl. Running a digital product business means you're constantly managing courses, emails, checkouts, and memberships and before Kartra I had all of that spread across different platforms. The time I spent maintaining integrations and troubleshooting sync issues between tools was genuinely eating into time I should've been spending on the actual business.

Kartra consolidates all of that into one place and the benefit is less about any single feature and more about everything just working together. A new member buys, gets the right access, enters the right email sequence, and shows up correctly in my reporting without me touching anything. That kind of automation reliability adds up over time.

It's also helped with conversions in a pretty direct way. Having order bumps and upsells built into the checkout natively, without needing a separate tool, made it easy to test and keep running without any maintenance overhead.

From an ROI standpoint it's not cheap, but when I actually added up what I was paying across five other tools, Kartra came out close to even and in some months cheaper. The bigger benefit though is just the hours saved not managing a frankenstack of integrations every time something breaks or an API changes.

It's not a perfect platform but for anyone selling courses or memberships at any real volume, the consolidation alone is worth serious consideration.

The done for you template sequences and funnels from the brilliant Frank Kern...massive time saver, massive conversion booster.

Not much - we're moving off Active Campaign to Kartra because we were so impressed. When they can match Upviral for viral campaigns I'll be in heaven!

**Recommendations to others considering Kartra:**

If you're serious about building a high performance. high converting marketing-led business, this is well worth the consideration.

email sequencing, running a 5-day challenge, content hosting, including videos...we're running a multi-six figure business that is growing rapidly and still not found the edges of Kartra's capacity...

I like that I can build my funnels customized to my niche. I appreciate that I can build a funnel from the beginning, from the landing page to a sales page, to a checkout page, and then I can use the same template so I don't have to start from scratch.

The email marketing drip campaigns. I wish that I could have better click through rates or open rates.

I use Kartra for lead generation, nurturing, and sales, which helps me build customized funnels from the landing page to checkout without starting from scratch.

There were some stats and tracking errors here and there, but there were very few issues.

What I like most about Kartra is how versatile and complete it is. I love that it can manage entire funnels from start to finish and that, moreover, it has a really solid structure.

**What do you dislike about Kartra?**

What I don't like so much about Kartra is that it has quite a steep learning curve; it is not a tool for beginners and can be a bit challenging at the start.

Solve without problems the entire funnel of any online service company. Also, it allows you to do email marketing and configure automated actions.

**What do you like best about Kartra?**

I like that Kartra is a most in one platform  and most of my business needs can be housed in one platform. This saves me time, and money every month. I like that the team is improving and adding new features to the platform at least a few time a year.

**What do you dislike about Kartra?**

Some of the filter features could be more robust, and I'd personally love a "save filter" feature to make things easier to find.

Kartra is solving my need to have many tools in my business toolbox, by combining features into one platform this saves cost and time.

**What do you like best about Kartra?**

Allows for several users and has semi-granular permission categories.
The Calendars component is great for scheduling paid appointments.
The chat support is decent, available from midnight to 4am PST and 8am to Noon PST weekdays.

**What do you dislike about Kartra?**

The page redirection feature presented as a solution to protect content is cookie-based, meaning it will function correctly for maybe 30% of visitors. Even if a user is logged into one of your memberships that is hosted by Kartra, Kartra does not look at the tags they have associated with their contact record to determine if they are allowed access to one of your pages in Kartra. 100% cookie-based. So every visitor would be required to allow third-party cookies in their browser settings for this to have a chance at functioning. Third-party cookies are disabled by default for almost all browsers.
There are bugs in the email builder, page builder and membership builder that should have been worked out by the beta release. Working within these builders is very tedious and time-consuming as a result.
They do host videos for use in your memberships, but they must be uploaded and processed in real-time. The size restriction per video file is 999MB, which is not great if you have high-resolution videos.  Be prepared to split them into several files. The media upload tool has the option to queue up videos for upload, but in my experience, it is smarter to do one at a time because the queue has a tendency to fail and all videos in the queue are lost when that happens. So you must upload the video and then wait for it to process which takes 5, 10, 15 minutes each.
There is no functionality for creating reports and the analytics are basic.
The Funnels function they seem to be super proud of is nothing more than a mock representation of what might happen if you built out the pretend model that you can create in their Funnels function. It has no real use, it is all make-believe.

**What problems is Kartra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to create some automations that have improved some of our processes, but honestly, nothing I couldn't have built with most other all-in-one SaaS solutions.
