"A Razor-Sharp, Purpose-Built Security Toolkit Right Out of the Box"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kali Linux?

What I love most is how unapologetically purpose-built it is. It skips the friendly desktop fluff and hands you an entire, razor-sharp digital armory right out of the box. There is an undeniable rush to opening a terminal and having industry-standard auditing tools like Nmap, Metasploit, and Wireshark wired up, pre-configured, and ready to roll. It turns your machine into a diagnostic powerhouse, letting you poke at systems, uncover hidden vulnerabilities, and understand how networks truly behave under the hood. It’s gritty, focused, and makes you feel completely in command. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kali Linux?

Honestly, it’s exhausting if you try using it for everyday stuff. It’s an unforgiving scalpel, not a daily driver. Software breaks easily during regular updates, audio or graphic drivers love throwing tantrums, and doing basic work feels clunky. It lacks warmth, offering pure utility that punishes you the second you forget to stay focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
