There are a huge number of tools available for penetration testing. I use it for both penetration testing and development by installing the development tools I need. On Windows, we can’t use as many penetration-testing tools like Kali, and because it’s a Linux OS, it doesn’t consume too many resources such as RAM or CPU compared to Windows. Some tools require a heavy GPU, so I’m unable to run them on my low-end devices. Also, the initial setup and learning process are very difficult, since it requires command-line, code-based steps sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
