"Streamlined Workflow but Needs Better Compliance Features"

What do you like best about Juntrax?

My favorite feature within Juntrax is the full‑scope project profitability dashboard. At our Austin consulting firm, our consultants submit weekly timesheets tied directly to active client workstreams. Instead of stitching together multiple spreadsheet exports, I can pull up any client project and immediately see how logged billable hours stack up against the original approved budget. This makes it straightforward to catch engagements that are falling behind on margin or burning budget too early. It cuts down many hours of repetitive report assembly for our small finance group and gives us far clearer visibility into how each client job is performing week‑to‑week. What do you dislike about Juntrax?

The main frustrations center around reporting and payroll compatibility for US professional‑services operations. There are no ready‑made report templates built around our domestic payroll and labor‑record audit needs. The built‑in payroll connector only supports basic field mapping and won’t let me filter timesheet data using our project‑level compliance tags. Every audit cycle I’m forced to pull raw data exports and rework them outside the platform. On top of that, the initial setup was fairly labor‑intensive. We spent significant time configuring tiered consultant billing rates, project budget rules and custom invoice templates to match our firm’s existing standards, which added extra burden during our rollout phase. Even after setup, we still manually reconcile Juntrax outputs against our accounting system to meet US labor and audit obligations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
