"Seamless Remote Device Management, but Password Manager Needs Work"
4/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I like using JumpCloud to manage devices and access them remotely. I can send commands and scripts, deploy or remove software, run updates, and restart devices without being there in person. Remote access is seamless and helps me assist users, and onboarding devices to Microsoft Defender with JumpCloud saved me a lot of time. I find asset management especially valuable because I can see who a device is assigned to, who used it before, and details like its RAM, serial number, and model. I also like being able to see which devices are offline, unlock user accounts, manage software, and use the Chrome add-on to help keep browsers updated. JumpCloud works well with Microsoft Defender for sending scripts to affected devices to address vulnerabilities. The initial setup was seamless for me, and I like being able to see what JumpCloud can do for security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The JumpCloud password manager crashes at times, and I remember it crashing most of the time, though I’m not sure how it behaves now. On some Windows machines, devices I register don’t show up in the JumpCloud portal even though they appear to be enrolled, and I can’t enroll them again. I haven’t figured out how to fix that yet, though restarting the JumpCloud services might help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
