What do you like best about Joomla?

There's honestly not much that I like about Joomla. There are things that I can work with and learn to use, but it is not the most user-friendly content management system that I've ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

I dislike quite a bit about Joomla. I think the module function is not user-friendly and helpful to a normal marketing manager. I think that a website/content management system should be useful for marketing people and not require some kind of technical training. It's hard to use, there are a lot of steps to create a basic web page, and there are a lot of bugs. I also think that the interface is hard to use and hard to understand. Recommendations to others considering Joomla:

If you have a very simple website with only a few pages (and a lot of technical training in website creation), then this may be the product for you, but other than that I recommend looking for better alternative options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Joomla solving and how is that benefiting you?

Joomla hosts our website which is definitely an issue if we didn't have one. But, it is not a user-friendly system. The only benefit is that right now, with this platform, we have a website. Although, we have realized that with the user issue programs internally, there are just as many externally. Because of the organizational functions of Joomla, our website is not user-friendly at all. Unfortunately, as a non-profit, this was all that was available to us. We are looking for alternatives in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
