What do you like best about JMP?

JMP has superior capabilities for preparing data for analyses as well as outstanding ways to visualize and understand what the data is telling. The training and community available is excellent as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JMP?

I dislike not knowing enough about the package to take full advantage of its capabilities, e.g., scripting and advanced modeling techniques. I'll get there. I've only had one source of pain using JMP: saving data tables in compressed format. This is a non-JMP add-on feature available, but I've had it corrupt files. Therefore, I don't use that feature anymore. Otherwise, all works PERFECT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

Data manipulation at the moment is my primary use of JMP. We have multiple sources of data, both internal and external. The variety of Table functions combined with Tabulate and formulas make for quick ways to create data ready for analysis. Once available, the resulting information provides information for market sizing, key driver analysis, plus general market research findings through Graph Builder and the Consumer Research options.
