Amazon Linux instance with Java runtime Tomcat makes it very easy to deploy the applications. Without Java runtime and Tomcat, it's a difficult or time-consuming process to deploy Java applications. But Amazon Linux makes it easier for Java Applications. I always use Amazon Linux in AWS to deploy Java web applications.
