"Automation and risk based patching, but setup takes time"

4/5

What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?

What I like most is the risk based prioritization feature. Instead of just patching everything blindly by standard CVSS scores, it uses Vulnerability Risk Rating to focus on active threats and ransomware. The automated patching and ring deployment save our IT team tons of manual hours every week across Windows and third-party apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?

The initial configuration and learning curve are pretty steep. Setting up custom patch deployment policies and getting familiar with the UI takes a while for new admins. Also, the local agents can occasionally freeze or lose connection, which requires manual troubleshooting to get the endpoint reporting properly again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were spending way too much time manually checking third-party software updates and dealing with failed patch rollouts. Ivanti solves this by automating third-party patching alongside OS updates with pre-tested deployments. It saves our IT team at least 10-15 hours a week and keeps our remote endpoints secure without breaking productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
