What do you like best about Inventory Planner by Sage?

Inventory Planner gives us a central and much clearer overview of our inventory position. The replenishment recommendations, sales forecasts and purchasing reports help us decide which products need to be reordered and in what quantities. This has reduced the amount of manual spreadsheet work required and has made our purchasing process more consistent.

We particularly appreciate being able to identify possible stockouts and excess inventory before they become larger problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inventory Planner by Sage?

The platform has a learning curve, especially when first setting up the forecasting rules and understanding the different reports. The quality of the recommendations also depends on having accurate product and sales data. Once the system is correctly configured, however, it becomes significantly easier to use. What problems is Inventory Planner by Sage solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us forecast demand, plan purchase orders and monitor inventory across a growing product range. This allows us to make purchasing decisions based on data rather than relying mainly on manual calculations. It saves time and helps us use our available inventory budget more effectively.
