Mailchimp has one of the best email editors among the platforms with a similar price, it allows to personalize the style of the email very deeply. It is a good option for those who want to set things up faster, especially regarding welcome emails, unsubscriptions, signup forms, and many other things that you can setup in little more than one click, in the "Form builder" section. It also has the advantage of being one of the most integrated tools around, for email marketing, because almost every ecommerce platform has a native integration with Mailchimp. In my opinion, the platform allows for little customization, when it comes to forms, list management, or also automations. Everything is very standardized, which can be good if you want a faster solution for your business, but is not optimal if you want something more tailor-made. It is hard to build complex and articulate automations, even though the platform provides with a large variety of "pre built" simple scenarios, which in many cases can be more than enough.
