I have been using mailchimp for the last couple of months to design and send emails to the members of an organization for which I am an administrative assistant. I very much like the usefulness of mailchimp "create a campaign" option to customize an email and the ability to send several test mails to check if everything looks right before the email is actually sent. Also, the ability to be able to use previous emails from saved templates saves you a lot of time because some information is common for such communications. I also like the "schedule your email option" so I can create the mail when I have time and Mailchimp sends it at the scheduled time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not dislike much so far for what I have been using it for. Initially there is a learning curve and takes some time to get accustomed to mailchimp to be able to know where to find templates and how to include attachments for the emails you are designing under create a campaign but it is worth the time.
