The most helpful feature is the multi-entity consolidation. You can automate intercompany transactions instead of entering multiple journal entries across different sets of books. It provides a dashboard where you can view all entities or drill down to see detail for one. Intuit has made efforts to integrate AI capabilities, including variance detection and financial insights. It has a similar, user-friendly interface to QuickBooks Online. It integrates, general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and reporting well in one program. Overall, the online application is stable and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The subscription cost for IES is higher than regular QBO. There is some cleanup required before implementation can happen. Inconsistencies in Chart of Accounts can lead to irregular or unreliable reporting across entities. Does not handle inventory as well as some other accounting solutions. Customer support can be inconsistent and depends on the quality of the representative that you are assigned. The online application can get bogged down and perform slowly at times.
