Intermapper is an easy-to-implement SNMP monitoring tool. Deployable on most common platforms (PC, Mac, Linux), it allows your IT department to quickly build maps of your network infrastructure and monitor utilization. It is highly effective in quickly identifying problem areas and the extent of any outages. I check Intermapper daily and typically keep it open in one of my desktop tabs.
