What do you like best about Intel VTune Amplifier?

Vtune has a graphical user interface and command line option. It enables users to analyze the application remotely as well. Time spent in each thread and memory usage can be easily monitored using Vtune. So it helps the developer to find micro-level design issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intel VTune Amplifier solving and how is that benefiting you?

Used for a large-scale simulator, which was processing many TCP requests from different clients. We have multiple worker threads to process requests and send responses. There we used Vtune for identifying whether CPU utilization and memory utilization are proper within the application. We identified design issues with the application since some threads were blocking. Using Vtune, we could identify the issue and solve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
