What do you like best about Infosec Skills?

I enjoy the ease of use and smooth interface Infosec Skills provides. Super helpful cyber ranges and lectures, allowing me to better build my foundation in Cyber Security. The cyber range is a great place to practice all the information spewed out during lectures and the tips there are helpful reminders. The lectures are in powerpoint presentation format and sometimes the presenter shows great examples or other external sources for learners to study more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Infosec Skills?

Minor grammar errors and somewhat unclear tips in cyber ranges. The grammar errors don't ruin the learning experience, but seeing such mistakes is a pet peeve of mine especially from a professional organization. Some of the cyber ranges assume you should remember things and force users to go back and redo certain commands to get a desired number. Not all ranges do this, but the ones that do not make me waste a lot of time and progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Infosec Skills:

Purchase this if you're willing to put in dedication to learn about anything involving the cyber world. If you have the time and money, definitely try their bootcamps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Infosec Skills solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am learning how to do security penetration and trying to understand how to apply the knowledge in real world scenarios. I have already downloaded some tools to practice penetration testing and hosted my own server on a VM to hack into. It's pretty fun and I hope it can be something I can put into a portfolio for future employers and business looking for project workers. Because of Infosec Skills, I have started learning new coding languages to be more well-rounded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
