The reporting dashboard makes it easy to identify trends, measure user engagement, and target additional training where it is needed most. I also like the wide range of training content available, the ability to automate campaigns, and the clear metrics that help demonstrate improvements in security awareness over time. **What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?** One area for improvement would be reducing the amount of mail gateway and antivirus tuning required to ensure phishing simulations reach end users consistently. It would also be beneficial to have more guidance and troubleshooting tools to help administrators identify and resolve email delivery issues more quickly. **Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:** Infosec provides great video training and a robust tool for Phishing campaigns **What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company has previously fallen for fairly simple phishing scams, we have used infosec to create and target specific individuals who may require extra training in spotting a phoney email. Infosec then provides the training to guide users in what to look for and how to act. ### 2. Having short form video content helps keep the attention span of younger learners and allows for more adoption of trainings. **What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?** I really have no issue with the service, so I cannot give areas of improvement. **What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** The two organizations I support use it for two separate but similar reasons. Company 1 uses it as part of CMMC / NIST compliance for training. Company 2 uses it as part of ISO 9001 internal training satisfaction. ### 3. A+ Nice software for education of spam, phishing and ransomware. Install was easy on Office 365 and would recommend to anyone in need of this type of education. Dashboard is easy to use and read. **What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?** Still slightly sluggish after months of use. Little slow on applications like delete, submit, send notification. Also not sure what sandbox does like some of the other functions it offers that don't do much or anything. I am on the admin side so my access and use is different from a standard user. Still recommended. No software is perfect and some of my concerns might be subjective. **What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Training and awareness of the numerous ways cyber attacks are done. They can come in through us, as well. Example we pick up a usb drive and plug it in to a secure computer. A definte no no. ### 4. Infosec also has a very good catalogue of past trainings or material that you can use as you see fit. I will also say that the support staff and your point of contact can really make your experience. I have a really solid contact and support personnel from Infosec and they really are very helpful and provide you with all you need to be successful. The PhishNotify button integration for Outlook is also something I recommend if your organization has issues with phishing emails. **What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?** The reports section of infosec and the campaigns you run can be a little obtuse at first. It just takes a little bit more to learn how to operate, but pretty easy once you figure it out. **Recommendations to others considering Infosec IQ:** Make sure you have a great support team from Infosec and are aware of what your needs for the system is. **What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of my organizations biggest problems was phishing emails and trying to mitigate them from getting into our system. Our old system I felt was not good. Staff would call IT staff or forward the emails to us wondering if they are real or not. With the PhishNotify tool provided by Infosec we have been able to reduce the likelihood of phishing emails from traveling through our systems and have an extra layer of defense from those causing any harm. ### 7. The platform makes it easy to train employees on cybersecurity threats with interactive videos, quizzes, and phishing tests. The automated phishing simulations are especially helpful in identifying employees who might be at risk, and the reports give us clear insights into who needs extra training. One thing I like is how customizable it is—you can tailor phishing emails and training content to match our company’s needs. It also integrates well with Microsoft Outlook and other security tools. Overall, it’s an effective and user-friendly platform for improving cybersecurity awareness across the organization. Highly recommend it for companies looking to strengthen their defenses! **What do you dislike about Infosec IQ?** While InfoSec IQ is a useful security awareness platform, there are some areas where it could improve: 1) Loss of Learner Grouping Feature – Previously, in the learner profile, we could see which groups a user belonged to. This feature has now been removed, making it harder to track user groups. 2) AI-Powered Phishing Template Creation – Many competitive tools now offer AI-generated phishing templates, but InfoSec IQ lacks this feature. Adding AI-powered template creation would make phishing simulations more dynamic and efficient. 3) Auto-synchronization in AwareEd Campaigns – Currently, there’s no option to automatically enroll new users of a group into an ongoing AwareEd campaign. This would be a helpful addition to ensure all new employees added to group receive training without manual synchronization. 4) PhishNotify Button – Consent Option Needed – Right now, users can report emails instantly using the PhishNotify button, but many do so accidentally or unknowingly, leading to too many false positives. There should be a confirmation prompt asking users if they really want to report the email before submission. 5) API Limitations & Support – Some data, like module tiles, cannot be fetched using the API. More API options should be available for better integration. Also, dedicated tech support for API-related queries would be helpful. 6) Limited Support Availability – Currently, InfoSec IQ support is only available in the US timezone. Expanding support availability to India time zone would be beneficial for global customers. **What problems is Infosec IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since implementing InfoSec IQ in our organization, it has significantly improved our security awareness and phishing resilience. Employees are now better trained to recognize phishing attempts and other cybersecurity threats through interactive training modules, quizzes, and phishing simulations. The platform's automated training campaigns have saved us time by ensuring continuous learning without manual intervention.
