What do you like best about Informatica Cloud Data Quality?

I am impressed by Informatica's product integration (e.g. PC 'talks' to PWX and IDQ etc) as well as the robust OOTB content for cleansing rules, reference data and industry specific validation rules. The IDQ Developer tool has productivity and debugging features such as mid-stream profiling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Informatica Cloud Data Quality?

The biggest downside to IDQ is the relative cost to other tools. As a consultant, I find that many clients just cannot justify the Informatica price tag $$ and often chose an open source solution. They later discover the cost of coding the transformation rules from scratch outrun the cost of INFA license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Informatica Cloud Data Quality solving and how is that benefiting you?

I recently used IDQ to cleanse customer data, in conjunction with MDM. The development time using IDQ is significantly reduced while all rules are maintained in the INFA repository. INFA IDQ and MDM products are nicely integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
