What do you like best about India CAD Works?

The reliability is the main thing. When they say they’ll deliver something by a certain date, they actually do it. In my experience with outsourcing, that’s not always the case. Their team has managed everything from simple floor plan updates to more detailed MEP drawings for our new production lines. The quality has been consistently good, and we’ve never had to scrap anything because it was fundamentally wrong. They also work with a wide range of software formats, which is helpful because we still have some legacy systems that don’t always play nice with modern CAD tools. What do you dislike about India CAD Works?

The initial setup and training phase took a bit longer than I expected. We had to spend some time getting them aligned with our specific drafting standards and layer naming conventions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is India CAD Works solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest benefit has been cost savings on facility planning projects. Having an in-house CAD team for the kind of work we need would be expensive — we’d need to hire, train, and maintain multiple specialists. With India CAD Works, we can scale up when we have expansion projects and scale down when things are quieter. They’ve helped us digitize decades of old paper drawings that were stored in boxes, which has made our operations planning much more efficient. Our facility managers can now access accurate digital versions of any production line layout instantly, which saves time and reduces errors when we’re planning maintenance or modifications.
