"Improvado Simplifies Complex Marketing Data with Powerful Integrations"

What do you like best about Improvado?

What I value most about Improvado is its ability to manage a complex marketing data landscape through a single platform. In our case, it supports integrations across 17 data sources and more than 220 accounts and properties in multiple countries, automating hundreds of extraction processes and consolidating the results in our data warehouse. This has reduced the need to build and maintain separate integrations for each advertising and analytics platform.

Another important benefit is that Improvado manages connector maintenance and API version updates. This is particularly valuable for social media platforms, where APIs can change frequently. Handling these updates internally across multiple sources would require continuous monitoring and could create a significant operational burden. What do you dislike about Improvado?

The main limitation is the limited visibility and control over what happens behind the managed connectors. When data issues occur, it can be difficult to independently identify whether the root cause is a source API, a connector configuration or an extraction process. More detailed logs, clearer audit trails, and better self-service monitoring would make troubleshooting faster and reduce dependency on support.

The platform can also be difficult to navigate for occasional users, especially when managing a large number of extraction orders and accounts. In addition, a more flexible pricing model that can adapt to actual usage patterns would further improve the overall value of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Improvado solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Improvado, we did not have direct access to several marketing data sources and often had to rely on manual data extracts prepared by our media agencies. This made data collection less timely and consistent and limited our ability to monitor performance across channels in a centralized way.

With Improvado, we have been able to use standard connectors and, where necessary, build custom connections to automate data collection from 17 sources and more than 220 accounts and properties across multiple countries. These include web analytics, advertising, social media, marketplace and other digital data sources, with Adobe Analytics representing our largest source by data volume.

Improvado centralizes these data flows and makes them available to our data and reporting environment. It currently supports our SAP HANA-based landscape and we are now managing its integration as part of our migration to Google Cloud Platform. This allows us to preserve continuity in marketing reporting while transitioning our data architecture.

The solution has reduced our dependency on manual agency reports and separate point-to-point integrations, while improving the completeness, consistency, and frequency of our social media, web analytics, and digital advertising reporting. We can monitor KPIs such as website traffic, sessions, users, conversions, impressions, reach, engagement, clicks, click-through rate, video views, advertising spend, cost per click, cost per thousand impressions, conversion rate and return on advertising spend across platforms and markets.

Improvado also manages connector maintenance and API version updates, which is particularly valuable for social media and advertising platforms where changes can be frequent. Overall, this reduces the operational effort required for data collection and integration maintenance and provides more timely and reliable information for campaign monitoring, performance analysis and business decision-making.
