I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health awareness content. I often come across useful information in diet chart images, nutrition tables, scanned study pages, screenshots and research articles that I may need to reuse in my own work. Retyping this kind of information takes extra time, so being able to extract the text and work with it again is useful for my diet charts, patient education material, study notes, presentation content and social media posts. I like that ImageToText.info gives both Simple OCR and Formatted Text options. For a simple page or screenshot, Simple OCR gives clean, editable text and usually gets the main content right with only small corrections needed. When there is structured content, I usually get a good result with Formatted Text, and it is easier to work with afterwards. I still check the result once before using it, especially when the original image is not very clear. I can copy or download the text afterwards, which makes it easy to move into my other work. It also has several useful tools for working with images and documents, including conversion options for PDF, Word and Excel files. Overall, it works well and gives good results. It saves me time when I need to reuse text from images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clear images give clean results, but blurry or compressed ones usually need some extra checking before I use the text. Also, Handwriting is more difficult especially when the writing is small or messy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
