"Convenient for Combining College PDFs"

What do you like best about iLovePDF?

I mostly use iLovePDF when I have multiple PDF files that need to be submitted together for college work. The feature I use most often is Merge PDF. For example, sometimes different parts of an assignment are saved separately, such as the cover page, main document, certificate, or supporting material. Instead of submitting several files, I upload them to the merge tool and combine everything into one PDF.

I particularly like being able to see the uploaded files separately before merging them. I usually check the file names and previews to make sure everything is in the right order. If something is misplaced, I can drag the files around and arrange them before clicking the final merge button. There is also an option to add more files, which comes in handy when I realise I accidentally left something out.

Apart from merging, I regularly use Compress PDF when a document is too large to upload on a college portal. This happens quite often with scanned documents or assignments containing images. I also use Split PDF when someone sends me a large document but I only need a particular section or a few pages from it. The PDF to Word feature is another one I occasionally use when I need to edit content from a PDF instead of typing everything again.

I don't really use every tool available on the website, but these four features fit naturally into the kind of document-related work I deal with as a student. Over time, iLovePDF has become one of the websites I usually check whenever I run into a basic PDF issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iLovePDF?

The main limitation for me is that the free version has restrictions, especially if you need to use certain features frequently or work with more demanding tasks. For occasional college work, it is generally enough, but regular users might eventually run into those limits. I have also noticed that larger PDF files can take longer to upload and process, particularly when the internet connection is slow. Since the process depends on uploading files online, it is not always as convenient when the connection is unstable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iLovePDF solving and how is that benefiting you?

Earlier: When I had multiple PDFs that needed to be submitted together, I would have to look for a separate tool to combine them. The same thing happened when a file was too large for an upload portal or when I needed only a few pages from a long document. I would often end up searching for different solutions depending on the problem.

Now: I usually open iLovePDF and choose the tool based on what I need at that moment. For assignments with multiple documents, I upload the files, check their order through the previews, rearrange them if necessary, and merge them into one PDF. If the final file is too large, I compress it. For longer documents, I use the split option to separate the pages I actually need.

As a result: Managing PDFs has become less frustrating during assignments and submissions. Instead of spending time figuring out how to handle each individual file problem, I can deal with common things like combining, compressing, splitting, or converting documents as part of my normal college routine.
