What do you like best about iCrimeFighter?

This program is just what we have been searching for. There are other digital evidence management platforms out there but iCrimeFighter does everything we need it to do and more. The mobile app makes it very easy for the officers on the scene to create a case, upload photos, videos, and actually any type of digital evidence. The evidence is uploaded to the cloud for very secure storage, sharing and retrieval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iCrimeFighter?

If you have multiple Watchguard videos, it is a bit labor intensive to export out of Watchguard, however once that is done, it is a very simple process to import into iCrimeFighter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iCrimeFighter solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our agency collects a lot of digital evidence and was still burning DVDs to log into evidence. In order to share with the prosecutor, our evidence technicians would have to burn another copy of this disk and then someone would have to physically take the disk to them which takes time every day. Sometimes the disks wouldn't burn properly and would all need to be done again wasting valuable time and effort. Another problem that iCrimeFighter solved was in obtaining surveillance video from businesses (i.e., shoplifting, gas drive off, etc.), and the officers would have to go back to the business, save the video to a USB drive and then come back to the station to log this into evidence. Now, with iCrimeFighter, our officers simply send the business (or citizen) an email link that they click on and upload directly into the case without the officer having to touch it.
