What I like most about IBM Terraform is how it automates and standardizes infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC). It helps teams manage infrastructure consistently across multiple cloud platforms, cutting down on manual work, reducing configuration mistakes, and speeding up deployments. I also value its reusability, version control, and scalability, which together improve operational efficiency and support more reliable, repeatable infrastructure management. One thing I dislike about IBM Terraform is that it can come with a steep learning curve for beginners, particularly when you start dealing with more complex configurations, modules, state files, and cloud integrations. I’ve also found that troubleshooting state-related issues and keeping provider versions compatible can be challenging at times. That said, with solid documentation, established best practices, and the right automation in place, these difficulties are manageable and can be handled effectively.
