5/5

What do you like best about IBM Power VM?

IBM Power VM provides advanced virtualization features to save on project and data center infrastructure costs. It is easy to implement in IBM power servers and offers a highly secure and scalable environment. It simplifies the virtualization of physical Ethernet and Storage HBA cards. The CPU and Memory pool feature helps maintain server performance, allowing easy addition and movement of resources like CPU/Memory between virtual LPARs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Power VM?

IBM Power VM is costly in the market compared to other VMs. I did not find any issues during work on IBM Power VM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Power VM solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using IBM Power VM in our virtual environments. We have saved on project costs and reduced the number of physical servers. We can now manage server performance issues as we can add/move resources into LPARs whenever required. We can increase the capacity of physical servers online if needed.
