What do you like best about IBM AIX?

BM AIX is a highly stable, secure and reliable enterprise operating system. Its tight integration with IBM Power hardware, excellent virtualization through PowerVM, mature administration tools and strong workload management capabilities make it particularly well suited for mission-critical environments. I also value its predictable performance, long lifecycle and the ability to perform many maintenance operations with minimal disruption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM AIX?

The main drawback is the learning curve, especially for administrators coming from Linux or other UNIX platforms. Some administration tasks and troubleshooting procedures require specific AIX knowledge, and the available community content is smaller than for Linux.
